Description

This kit contains everything you need to add sound to your arcade game, MAME cabinet, or virtual pinball machine. Mount the speakers, hook it all up, and plug the audio cable into the headphone jack of your computer, raspberry Pi, or multi-game PCB. TIP: Screw the speaker to the front of the wood first. Then place the grill frame on top and rotate to align the indented holes to gaps in the speaker frame and install the frame with the screws provided.

    • Everything I Needed for my Purpose
First off, let me preface by saying I was using this for a home arcade machine. If you're using this for a car or something where you demand higher sound quality, disregard this review. But for my needs, this was absolutely perfect. Everything I needed: speakers, grills, amp, all the wires and more - for a fair price. At first, I thought it wasn't sounding great... until I realized I didn't hook up the RCA cables to the PC properly and the sound was coming from the monitor. Once I got it corrected... WOW. It delivers some pretty good sound. Again, I'm talking about old arcade and console games here, many of which were originally mono. But I am very happy with the output.     • Awesome kit for your arcade cabinet!
This is an awesome kit for your DIY arcade cabinet. It doesn't come with instructions but it's very easy to figure out how to assemble it. Strip the wires, crimp them to the connectors (1 big, 1 small) and plug the connectors into the speaker. On the other end, strip the wires and insert them into the amp. Mount the speakers to your cabinet and use the grills to cover the speakers. The amp has volume, bass and treble knobs and cool lights that change colors! The speakers put out a lot of sound and sound great! The only complaint I have is that the screws provided were too short to mount the speakers.
