I never review anything, this is my first. The knife is great, my only complaint is that the handle can be a bit slick, texturing could be a bit better for grip but it's super pretty. The blade comes ultra-sharp, you could shave with it, at least mine was. Everything is very solid, good construction, no rattling when you shake it around. It's very solid, good weight, quality steel, and has retained its edge very well, and it looks incredible. I was pleasantly surprised, definitely good for the $40 they're asking, I can't speak for all the other variations and models but mine is great. Very satisfied with it. Yeah, there's always going to be something better if you want to spend $300 on a Spyderco or benchmade, but for the price, I don't think you can beat it. ... show more

I bought this as a gift for my husband and he loves it! The variance of the Damascus steel is beautiful and the blade is incredibly sharp. The texture of the handle is not one I’ve seen before, but was easy to grip and wield; it’s not ergonomical so much as aesthetic, but it’s still not uncomfortable to hold and use. High quality blade and very sharp, and the handle feels great to hold onto and doesnt slip at all with the texture, Don't listen to these poeple that say the handle is slick, It's not. As far as $50 knives go (and I really just wanted more Damascus aesthetic in my budget collection) the knife has a good edge, the blade is centered, and if I could nitpick one thing it's that the clip doesn't like to enter pockets with thick stitching. To start off, you must know the description is expectedly deceptive. I knew going into this given the price point that there was no way it would actually be damascus steel. It is clearly laser etched steel to appear as such. What baffles me is that it is three separate pieces, with the outer layers being etched. Why not just one solid piece if that's the route you decided to go? The blade itself is fairly sharp out of the box. The hilt terrifies me. The aluminum is lightweight but offers minimal grip and decreases substantially if your hands aren't bone dry. Not ideal when it's the one thing protecting your digits. The assist is smooth but not spring loaded which would have been a nice touch. The packaging for the knife though was surprisingly impressive. At the end of the day, it's more of a novelty knife than a useful edc. You get what you pay for and though it's no Benchmade, the knife to me is well worth the price point. ... show more
