Main features: it floats, it's cheap, doesn't rot. Very light, limp feeling rope with low working load for its diameter. The core (it does seem to have one) seems to be a spongy, float-y, type material (not like what you would find on stronger lines), not sure whether it is designed to carry any of the load in addition to the sheath. We bought this to tie-up a weak tree in our yard. So it needs to be strong, hold a knot and survive being exposed to the elements. It's now been about 6 months, and this rope looks like it just came out of the package. And the tree is still standing! Great value for the price.

I bought the 3 cords of this rope to be used as dock line for our 16' Bayliner. After ordering it I was sort of worried I would recieve 3 different colors (as it says color may vary), or that we would receive some weird colors that didn't match our boat (which is navy blue & white). When the items arrived I was very happy to see that we received not only 3 of the exact same color, but that they were a dark blue to match our boat almost perfectly (not sure if they purposely shipped the same color, or if it was just a coincidence, but I'm glad either way). The rope seems very sturdy & is a great buy to anchor your boat to the dock. The rope would not lead me to any worrying about my boat breaking free. I would definitley recommend this as it is good quality & a lot of rope (will work with many different size boats). ... show more
