My honest review for the ATLINIA Duvet in white, king size. After reading lots of reviews and researching different companies, I purchased a sheet set from an LA based company called Morrow soft goods, $270 (on sale with tax and shipping) for a California king in white. I was able to grab a deal on this ATLINIA Duvet on Amazon for $127. Compared to $300+ at most of the places I looked I decided it was worth a try. What sold me were the grest reviews, 100% linen, French grown flax from Normandy (manufactured in China), Certified by OEKO-TEX STANDARD. I wasn’t expecting amazing quality but when I opened the box it was nice packaging, and the linen duvet construction looks solid. No lose threads, or obvious cheapness. Side by side my much more expensive sheets I can say a few things: Morrow: Thick, heavy, scratchy material, not as comfortable out of the box but after 6 (yes 6!) washes they are starting to soften and become comfortable. Quality and I can tell will last. Atlinia: fabric is light and airy, more see through, silky and cool to the touch. Soft and comfortable before washing. For a Duvet I don’t plan to wash as much as sheets I’m perfectly happy with this purchase. It’s beautiful, well made, soft and most importantly completes my linen obsession bed dreams for 1/3 the cost! If it falls apart horribly after washing I’ll update this review but the quality feels there. If anything I can say the fabric is thin so maybe not as long lasting as something thicker. The media could not be loaded. I didn’t realize how much longer these would be on the sides of my bed but I love it! The fabric is so soft and luxurious, it does wrinkle but I don’t mind at all. It's been a month and been washed 2 times. Did not shrink. I read the reviews and had an idea that would be larger. So mine is queen size and as you see in picture the comforter cover is a size of hand larger than the comforter. I love the quality and not forget is alot of fabric. I wash the cover by itself because is alot of fabric. Value of money worth it. And I love the wrinkles look (wierdly) It's cool when I touch it and my son love it cause keep him so comfortable. Even after one wash, it was so soft! It does indeed shed some lint and a good amount of dust around there bed, but that goes away after more washes. I love that it not only has corner ties, but also top, bottom, left, and right sides too. The ties are long enough to tie in a bow comfortably.
