    Description

    The classic tubular-frame snowshoe in our Trail Walking category, the Access shines on mellower terrain by making your strides feel as natural and effortless as possible. This is accomplished by the innovative technology behind the Access’s frame and suspension system. The turned-up tail of the V-Frame rolls easily into each step for a smooth gait, while the patented Light-Ride Suspension allows your foot to articulate naturally and cushions impact for smooth striding on hikes that are flat or have little elevation change. For the traction needed for a stable snowshoeing experience, the Access features the Twin-Trac toe crampon that provides grip in all directions as well as Advanced Aft Traction which integrates the sharp-tipped heel cleat with the heel lift for deeper snow penetration. The intuitive Wrapp Stretch binding rounds out the design providing a comfortable and secure fit with a simple and intuitive two-buckle closure allowing for an easy entry and exit.

    I'd like to bump my rating up to 6 stars simply because the bindings won't let go of my boot. It's easier to take my boot off. The level of flotation is perfect for Northern Colorado snow.

    Ordered this item in Novermber for Christmas gift, but its 2020 and its Covid, and the order was to go to Alaska... lots to go wrong, and it did for awhile. The shoes just came tonight (Dec 16),. They were supposed to be there a while ago. Site said they were lost. I tried to reorder them, but they were out of stock. That being said, customer service for both Amazon (Jasmine) and the seller (Pedigree Sports) worked diligently to try to find them and get them there. I think they were as frustrated as I was not knowing the exact status. Courteous and prompt at both places. I own an older pair of Atlas snowshoes and they have held up extremely well. No issues whatsoever with a great deal of use. I anticipate the same for this newer model. My son loves them. ... show more
