I bought this to replace my hanes under tank tops for the summer. It contains the moisture but it doesn't keep it off of the outside shirt. You should definitely get a size smaller so it fits tighter around the body.

This is definitely not a compression shirt as it says. I’ve had others that are no longer available that definitely do a much better job. These are just a slim undershirt with no support.

    • Good value, not as compressive as name brands

Immediate reaction after a quick size check. My only comparison is to UA compression tops, which I really like. If you have worn compression tops by UA these will NOT feel as compressive. I have a few UA sleeveless compression shirts, size medium, that provide the feel that I like with a compression shirt. But the UA tops are not cheap (the best prize I have seen on Amazon is $18.74, regular price is typically $25 -- for one shirt). A 3 pack of Athlio tank tops were $21. I ordered the same size for the Athlio top that I wear in UA - the fit is what I expected. The main difference seems to be in the thickness of the fabric; the Athlio line is thinner, which probably contributes to the noticeable difference in compression. I wear these under tshirts, to help keep things in place, and for that purpose I expect these Athlio ones to do well. I will update once I've put them through a few wear cycles. ... show more

    • The "newer" Version of These Fit Different...

So this is my 4th set of these. I really do like them as an undershirt, they're great for exercising/gym as well as everyday under tanks. I ordered the same as the last 3x sets I got, size L. I'm 6'1", 190 lb, and a Large was where it was at. They fit like a compression shirt is supposed to, tight, form fitting. The first set I received was a size L. I put them on just to try, way too big! Chest was too large (mines fairly big for my size) and it fit more like a loose tank. I was very surprised. So I returned for a medium. They fit like the larges used too, so happy I could still use them. Only difference is they are a tad shorter than the large, which I disklike, but they stretch so it'll do. They also changed how they applied the label to the garment (bottom left). My old versions are still on there and look good, the new ones are already peeled off and flaking. Not really relevant to the garment, but more proof they changed things... ... show more

Size down for better compression. Plenty of stretch to accommodate. This shirt is 80% there. Wicks moisture, super light, very comfortable. It just lacks the compression it really needs but just a tiny bit. It will smooth you out but I have other brands (cotton based) that compress better. I wear it under a shirt while working out or running. On hot days I wear them instead of cotton compression but those still compress better. It's not a disappointment at this price. But if it compressed just a little bit more I would have been more than happy. Going to try to order even one more size down. ... show more

A great compression shirt for the money. Has the fitted, compression fit without being overly constrictive. Was very impressed with the material and its stretch. While obviously not the EXACT same quality as its much more expensive counterpart, it is very comparable to other house, and even some other major brands that offer similar compression products. Fit was just as I hoped, I am about 5'9" 200ish lbs (I would like to say "athletic" build), and the medium is perfect. I run with it as an undershirt; no rubbing/chaffing, doesn't move around a lot, and wicks pretty well. Length is great, runs just a little long so it can be tucked in to be more form fitting and secure. Just ordered another pack; totally worth it. ... show more
