  • I wish they made a 35 so badly.
Size: 34W x 32L Color: Morel
Yeah these are great, fit is all over the place, but once you get them right , they're good paints. Camo is the most comfortable in my normal size 34, and 36 runs baggy in the other colors, 34 runs true to size in the tan colors -but is much more snug. My picture is a 36/32. I can comfortably wear the 34 in camo, the 36 in kelp, They get baggy with one waist size up. I wish they ALL felt as good as the camo pants in my 34/32 that I'll hardly wear, (a few outfits a year) those fit so well, and are extremely comfortable, it made me want to bleach and dye them. Order your normal sizes. Overall these are good work pants for mechanical work, or just going around town. They look nice, no doubt. In slimmer sizes these can be dressed up and look as good as some of the pacific north west craftsmanship for a fraction of the price. I suppose they're priced fairly. They're not cheap or cheap in quality which is rare today. If you can find them under 40 that's pretty competitive. Nice pockets, good colors, reinforced for thickness , tougher than jeans I would say, without sacrificing comfort. ... show more

  • Pleased with the fit and function of these lightweight travel/hiking pants
Size: 32W x 30L Color: Morel
UPDATE BASED ON 3+ YEARS OF WEAR: I've now worn these pants through 3 years of gardening plus countless hiking trips and vacations including a 3-week safari. They hold up beautifully and I've since ordered more. I like them so much they've become my go-to pants for everyday wear. I looked for a long time for reliable, inexpensive, well-fitting travel/hiking pants that have strong technical features but don't have too much of a "technical look." By that I mean I didn't want big flapped cargo pockets, zip-off legs, or logos all over the pants. I need pants I can wear for gardening or a strenuous hike but also pack for travel and wear out on vacation without standing out or looking too baggy. They need to have a little stretch, and be quick dry for hand-washing on the road. These Wrangler ATG pants fit the bill. They dry quickly, have a good look to them, and have been highly functional. The one deep zippered leg pocket is the only thing that screams "utility pants." That pocket is big enough for my cell phone and would keep it close to my thigh without dangling down to the knee (that would be a deal breaker), and it doesn't stand out too much when zipped. The other pockets are open -- no zippers or fasteners -- but the front pockets are fairly tight and stretchy and I usually just kept my phone there instead of using the zippered pocket at all. They aren't perfect. I'd like a slightly narrower waistband (see photos -- the waist flairs a little), and lower-rise to the waist. That would be more flattering. And they are synthetic so they don't last forever. When the oldest of my pairs started to pill, those are the ones I wear for gardening. These ATGs come in very specific sizes/lengths, so you should be able to find a fit that works for you. Don't order too big of a size. I'm 5' 9 1/2" tall and weigh 165 pounds, with a 32-33" waist and 31" inseam. I ordered the 32"W/30"L and the fit was pretty good across the board but just a little big in the waist due to the stretch fabric. It was the right size for me. Not loose. Just stretchy. They hold up fine without a belt, but you wouldn't want to tuck in a shirt without a belt because of the stretchiness. As you can see in the photos, the "Morel" color and the "Bungee Cord" color are pretty much identical (see photos). The "Caviar" color is a rich black, and I wear those a lot just to go out in the evening. The "Sea Turtle" color is the only disappointment. It's somewhat similar to Morel and Bungee, with more of a military green tint, but unlike those other colors, the stitching is not died-to-match. In other words, the stitching lines stand out more on the Sea Turtle color, which gives them a cheaper look. ... show more

  • Very flexible
Size: 36W x 30L Color: Morel
These Wranglers are surprisingly durable. The stretch makes it easy to bend, and daily, I put my knee in the dirt and light gravel, and the knee doesn't wear out. I leaned against a soldering iron and melted a back pocket. Other work pants in this price range have had the crotch rip out of knees worn through. What I don't like is the piling where I often rest my hands on the thigh. And I would like to see more availability of odd sizing. But, I feel I'm getting my money's worth, and they're not supposed to last forever. Having said that I get good mileage. The material is soft and lightweight, a great value for the money and I haven't had any zipper problems. They are comfortable with the flex, and they fit well. I have bought 4-5 different colors and I can coordinate well. They also clean up well. I got transmission fluid on them several times and sprayed them with stain/grease spray and it has washed out. I'm a repeat customer. ... show more
