Most people don’t like amd cards when they are compared to “team green” but at the time of me buying this, id be stupid to go with the 3060 over it… With that said the card turns my room into a sauna (because I've got bad ventilation in here) yet I've never seen the thing go over 55-60c staying under what my cpu was running before I bought this card. Since it was used when I got it I wasn’t expecting anything too bad and sure enough its pretty good, other than the weird noises the fans make (which is probably why the original owner sent it back) its not bad… not even too loud either. It also has a little rgb on the side which I didn’t even see until I turned the card on. runs my very limited selection of games at high fps minecraft with mods and shaders stay at 60 capped but can go up to 250-ish (high settings) subnautica ran very good terraria (duhh) vrc on desktop was getting 290-300+, and in vr it was capped at 72fps Ive got the card paired with a 7900x and 64gb of 6000mhz ram (not ideal but its a temporary card) and all I can say is that it runs great, drivers are fine and you get software that has screenshot, livestreaming, and game recording features. tl:dr - oh yeah, its good… ... show more

    • Good but very loud fans.
Been playing Horizon zero dawn for a couple of days at 60 fps, 1440p ultra setting with ease. However this GPU gets very loud. I had to set up a frame limit on my game or else this thing would go all the way up to 110 FPS. Making my PC sound like it’s about to lift off, I had been messing with setting in game (lower detail to low) and on the tweak II software as well as with MSI AB and AMDs Adrenaline (I’m aware they need to be run one at a time) and all kinds of thing to make fans go slower but the only thing I get is for the temp to go all the way up to 101* Celsius. I’m thinking at this point that this could be a matter of not good enough ventilation. I would be switching my PC case in a few days and test it again. I am aware that there is a quiet mode switch on the GPU itself and I already messed with it also. My thought on this is that for a GPU that’s rated for 1440p; running games at medium or high setting shouldn’t make the fans spin this fast(3200 rpm) ... show more
