    • Asurion paid in full for failed TV
On 7/15/2019, I purchased a Samsung Q80 QLED TV and purchased Asurion's Extended 4-year service contract. In the last week of May 2023, the TV screen went blank. It took only a few days to have Asurion's local technician come to investigate. He said the TV had a panel failure and because repair likely would cost more than a new TV, Asurion likely would pay cash to me. He was correct. A few days later, Asurion contacted me and confirmed the technician's opinion. Today, I received Asurion's check for the full purchase price for the TV I bought on 7/15/2019. I bought a similar Samsung Q90C 2023 model for $2 more than I paid for the failed TV. I again included an extended service contract. I always wondered if one of my many Asurion service contracts would pay if I ever had a claim. Asurion paid full price with no argument. I am very happy with my Asurion extended service contract. Addendum: I am not happy that Asurion continues to pester me to rate my experience over and over and over again. I have completed ratings and surveys each 3 times. Enough already! ... show more

They couldn't fix, so they it took about a week and a half to settle an issue I had with my product. Not as fast as I like, what is? But Got my money back and good service.

    • Saved me from a $2800 loss
I bought a Sony TV 18 months ago for almost 3 grand that was plagued with problems. I contacted Asurion and a local TV repair technicain was sent to my home to diagnose the issues (at no extra cost to me). He had parts ordered and returned a 2nd time to swap out the mother, power & T Conn boards. Unfortunately the TV was still malfunctioning. The tech called into Asurion to update the repair status and the TV was declared unrepairable. Asurion has agreed to reimburse the amount paid for the TV minus sales tax! Wow, I am amazed at how well this protection plan has worked, and I will certainly buy their coverage on any electronics that I purchase in the future. ... show more

    • Asurion stole two weeks of warranty from me and everyone else who buys one.
I bought the TV on the 11th, I do not receive it until the 20th. But for some reason the warranty begins on the 11th. The screw me and everyone else out of two weeks of warranty. Multiply that by the 1000s of people (suckers) like me who made the mistake from buying from Asurion and you get years worth of warranty they are skimming. It is like paying interest on loan the you have applied for but not received. Basically they are stealing from every one that buys a warranty. Update: While the above is true I needed Asurion on the last two months of a 3 year warranty and they jumped all over it no questions asked, paid for shipping, unit is not back yet but I really have to give them credit where credit is due. They just earned three more stars from me. Will update date again when case is closed. ... show more

Bought this for a 75" Samsung TV. After two years the one connect box failed and wouldn't accept HDMI inputs. They put me in touch with two different techs but after they failed to schedule an appointment so they refunded the full purchase price of the TV no questions asked. Highly recommended if you are going to be purchasing an expensive TV. ... show more
