I've yet to need this service for my current phone, as is normal for most protection/insurance plans. However, on a previous device, I had a plan from this company and it was a good experience. When that phone died I was instructed to mail it off via UPS prepaid postage, i.e. they paid for the shipping. Within three days, I had a refurbished unit. Second instance of using a protection plan from this company was similar to the first, but the unit sent as a replacement was faulty, and I ended up going through several replacements until I got one without issue. While some may see that as a negative, I see it as a solid attempt from them to get me a working device instead of saying 'tough luck'. ---- If you made it this far, here's the rub, much like medical insurance you are paying a monthly premium--and you will have to pay a deductible for a new unit...even a refurbished one. With my previous phone--it was a HTC-- the purchase price was around $320USD. The replacement deductible was $40USD. not a bad deal considering I'd been paying an extra $5/month for nearly two years. Only downside is that you have to send in your phone before getting another. This, you are without a phone ne until the replacement comes unless you have/purchase a backup/burner. If not had to activate a plan from them in over three years. I hope that they are still as reliable as they were then, if not moreso. ... show more

    • Won't pay all you paid
People on phone don't know what there talking abbot between drop of center for repair or scrapping your item. Also they will only pay you base value and not what you paid total for it. And then they charge you for your paid service for a service fee you already paid for. Not very knowledgeable for over all products. ... show more

    • Long drawn out process
Work flow process between the two parties needs improvement. Almost impossible to file a claim and verify someone bought a claim. Chat w/ feature doesn’t connect and/ or no one responds. 24/7 phone number works on & off sometimes dead silent while on the line
