Originally I went with the A10s because of popularity but those did not fit my ears the way I like they say on top and which gets uncomfortable after a while. Sound quality was not that great either. But these are very comfortable and sound amazing. I don’t use an amp because they go into my Xlr interface but they sound perfectly fine with out. Headset is amazing!! I had the A50s on PS4 back in the day and was looking for that amazing comfort again. These A40s are amazing for the new Xbox! The mic is so clear and clean compared to the terrible mic I had on the A50s 10/10 recommend no amp necessary

The headset is great! Sound quality very good and mic operates perfect although I recommend buying a mod for it due to the headphone ear pieces kinda being uncomfortable, it’s not that they’re terrible but they don’t come noise canceling or very comfy from what I’m used to the material of the ear pieces are very mid and not great. Other than that the mic is perfect for playing games, tried a few others and this one is a 9/10 in my books ... show more

Mic stops working in a day. You need the mix amp or else it doesn’t work. Don’t understand why they have this even able to purchase without the mix amp. My mic stopped working the day I got it.
