  • Not as Advertised, Extremely Poor quality control, Missing parts, Unstable.
This this was replacing a six year old 10' x 20' canopy garage that had seen better days. The Pros: 1) Easy to setup, takes about an hour and a half for one person to setup, for what comes in the kit. That is it for the Pros. The Cons: I have some cons........... 1) This is NOT 10 x 20 foot Carport as advertised. This one is almost two feet narrower only measuring in at 8.5' x 20'. (measured after the end walls were installed). The openings are only 7 feet. So be very careful moving a car in and out. A normal mid-size car is six feet wide, less the mirrors. Add the mirrors and you are around seven (7) feet. You will need to fold in your mirrors or get them scrached up on the zippers when moving a car under this canapy. If you look at the picture on this page, it shows one end with the door rolled up. The side panels between the zipper and the corner looks about 18 to 20 inches when in reality they are only six (6) inches wide. 2) Wrong Part in box. a) There should be four (4) legs labeled #4. The legs for the four corners, which has extra holes in the low secton to conect to corners of the top. I only receive one (1) of these legs and seven (7) of the #3 legs, The legs for the center of the side walls (two on each side). These legs that do not have the extra holes need to hook in the top corners that hang down. I am trying to figure out a solution for this issue. b) The company boast about the Spring Button connectors. Three (3) of the legs did not have these spring buttons, the hole is there for the buttons just the spring button were not installed. Now I have to find a way to line up three of the legs. Without the spring buttons to hold the legs in the correct position, the legs slide in and out of the receiving top corners and the canapy is lopsided due to the legs sliding to far into the top corners. c) One of the part #A corner with four piles does not have a hole for the spring button to go into allowing the pipes to slide in and out. Another problem to fix. 3) The "High quality elastic ball straps", what a joke: a} These ball straps, the elastic is 1/4 the size of my old canapy. about 1/8 inch thick. The balls them self are about 1/4 the size of standard canapy ball straps. I doubt if they will last three months. b) There were not 80 elastic ball straps in the kit. There were not enough of these ball straps in the kit to connect the top of the two side walls to the top frame. I was not planing on using these at all since I do not trust these tiny, cheap ball straps, I used some ball strips I all ready had for the top and the top of the two ends. I ran out before getting to the two sides walls. (I ordered another set of full size, stronger straps to replace the few that came with the kit. 4) On the side walls, there are four pieces of velcro to wrap around each of the center four legs. Well someone did not do their job and for one of the legs on each side, the velcro is about eight (8) inches away from the pole. There is no way to connect the wall to the leg. It is not because wrong piles were used in the roof. How I know this, on the left wall, the second from the front leg, the velcro does not line up. On the right size, it is the second from the back leg that does not line up. So the size walls are idenical in how they were poorly made. 5) Extremely unstable. A slight breeze (about 5 mph) this canapy is shacking and wobbling all over the place. 1) This kit does not come with any cables to firm up the top/roof. I was going to use the old cables from my old canapy, but those cables are to long. (this canapy is not 10 x 20 as advertized). Bought four lenghts of wirerobe to make my own. This helps but these cables should have been in this kit. 2) The tiny cord and plastic anchors supplied will not hold anything, let alone in sandy soil. Luckily I had the earth augers I used with the last canapy. (again, they had to be moved since this is not 10 foot wide canapy.) 3) The tiny 1/4 straps/loops that are on each of the four corners will not hold up. This looks like an after thought in the design, let's sew in some loops to help tie this thing down. This should have been at least a two inch strap that went from one side to the other, crossing the top then using a rope to hold the canapy carport from wobbling. 4) To resolve the front to back motion. I have added criss cross cables between each of the legs to help resolve this front to back wobble. 5) For the all the size walls, the vertical section use velcro and not elastic ball straps. a) My experience with velcro outsize is that it will breakdown in a few months. b) If you are using this as a portable canapy, the velcro picks up dirt, grass, weeds, basically everything and after a few times of putting it up and down, the velcro becomes useless. c) I am adding grommets to the size walls so that I can use the ball straps on the corners. Easier to put up and down without the problems of the velcro filling with dirt and weeds. 6) After the initial setup (about an hour and a half) it will take another two days running around geting the things needed for all the upgrades this thing needs to make it useful, (where you are not worried it will collapse or be blown away in the wind). Over all, I cannot recommend this canapy garage/carport 1) Size is not as advertised. 2) Poor quality control (bad parts and missing parts) 3) Extremely Unstable. 4) You will adding another $200 - $300 out of your pocket to make this canapy safe and useful. Adding the missing ball straps or just replacing with better ball straps. Adding stabilizing cables between the legs and across the roof. Adding better anchors to hold this canapy down and stop it from wobbling back and forth. 5) This one is optional, adding grommets on all corners to use ball straps vs the cheap valcro that it comes with. The cost of this canapy then, adding another $300 to make this canapy safe and useful, you are up around $700. You might as well use that money and buy a better quality canapy. I wish I knew all of this before I bought this thing. ... show more

  • Carport Coverage Crazy Great
Style: With Sidewall Color: Beige
First, we’ve purchased this “carport”’for our boat. We were impressed with the overall design of it. Especially liked the steel snap-in pole system. My husband had a friend help- definitely best with two people. One note: would’ve given this item a 5, BUT… the stakes that the manufacturer provides are sub-standard. Definitely too small. (Note photo- instructions with stakes pictured). He ordered larger ones on Amazon. One other tip- before placing the corner stakes, make sure you’ve secured the tarp straps to the legs all around. If you don’t do that first, it’s tricky getting the legs angled right. Once we figured that out it went well. Only a few hours and she was up. This baby’s not going anywhere!!! Honestly overall a great value! We’ll see how it does through the winter. The Sears’ Southern Middle TN. ... show more

  • Easy assembly, very sturdy
Frame easily snaps together, very sturdy steel tubing, canopy attaches with mini bungees. Easily done with 1 person. Lined the post feet with cinderblocks to hold it down during wind. Door zippers are a little frail looking. We’ll see how long they last. Overall, great set-up for the price.

  • Easy to assemble
I’m concerned that this doesn’t have poles to go between the upright poles at the bottom to prevent the legs from moving. I’m otherwise very pleased. Can’t wait to see how it stands up to a nor’easter in New England!

  • Nice but has issues with weak seams
This is a nice big tent however the seams are weak causing it to leak when it rains! Amazon did a great job rectifying the issue without having to worry about tearing it down and trying to return the tent!
