Description

The GEL-EXCITE 9 shoe is a comfortable trainer for the casual fitness runner. Thanks to its engineered jacquard mesh upper, this material increases airflow while creating a softer feel against your foot. A combination of AMPLIFOAM cushioning and GEL technology are placed in the midsole. These features provide better impact absorption with a more forgiving landing at footstrike.

Granted I just put them on a couple of hours ago, but they are so comfortable so far. I have a young, energetic doggie and need to be able to take him for long walks. I'm usually an 8.5/9 in sneakers and 8/8.5 in boots and shoes. I got a 9 in the Asics. I probably could have got the 8.5 and they would have worked just as well, but I like to be able to wear thick socks if it's cold, or put in my own gel insert. I don't think I'll need the insert with these because they're like walking on clouds. At first they seemed like they wld bother me but the toe box...but once I actually wore them I realized they have not at all....they are really comfortable for 40 min brisk walks to and from work.....really awesome .....sometimes feel older than my age always walking around in sneakers.....but comfort over beauty any day 😉 practicality always wins Thank Gd these fit so nicely according to size! ... show more

First of all the laces, if you wanna do a everyday wear slip on slip out using 6/7 of the eyelets, you end up not having enough laces to tie the shoe, that's a let down, Asics you need to make your shoe laces LONGER, forget about tying it through the 7th eyelet, trust me you can, but you won't have enough laces to do the traditional bunny ears tying style. ... show more

you can feel your feet sigh when you put them on. I needed a change from Skechers, and remembered that I had once gotten a pair of Asics to play volleyball in that were super comfortable. So I took a chance and ordered these. I doubled checked the size of the shoes I was wearing and ordered accordingly. These shoes are so awesome!!! I was having some trouble with pronation in my feet, and these have some really decent arch support that I could tell immediately. I am on my feet at least 8 hours a day, so I need a shoe that is just as comfortable in hour eight as they were in hour one. These are that shoe for me. With the others I was experiencing some pretty major foot pain, and a week in these that is no longer a problem! ... show more

    • Perfect work shoes.
I bought these for work in a kitchen all day. They are perfect! I realized that the toe box is wider than my nikes and it makes my toes happy! I couldn't be happier with how comfortable and stable they are. I've been wearing them over a month now and they're still great.

    • Not enough arch support

I actually really like these shoes for their price point. I bought them specifically because reviews seemed like they had adequate arch support. I have found they do not have enough arch support. They are pretty thick foam. If you're used to slim shoes like Converse, they are going to take some getting used to. I wear these with Smartwool socks from REI, and I walked 3-6 miles on a couple days. The first day I walked 3 miles in them, my feet hurt a lot afterwards. Maybe they do need some breaking in because the day I walked 6 miles, I had little to no discomfort. Just the normal weary feet after walking that much, and some pain because the arch support wasn't enough. No blisters, but that might be because of my socks (they are magic!!). The laces are a bit too short for me, and/or maybe I should have sized up since my socks are so thick. ... show more

I wear a women size 12.... And a 12 fits perfectly! They felt a little odd when I first put them on, But they are so comfortable to work out in! It feels like you're walking on a cloud once you get used to the thin mesh material on top! I love them!

These shoes are so comfy. Great upgrade from my previous workout shoes. They’re cute and didn’t realize they had pink on them. But that’s neither here more there. Haven’t tried cleaning
