  • Best garden stakes I’ve ever used
Item Package Quantity: 500
These far exceeded expectations. I’ve been buying garden stakes from the big box stores for years and honestly thought these would be the same thing, just cheaper since I was buying them in bulk. These are both longer and thicker (example in the attached picture from stakes we used last year on the left and these ones on the right). They also have perfectly angled tips that are very sharp and easily pierced our heavy duty landscaping fabric. They now have us as customers for life. ... show more

  • Different products in the 150/200ct
Item Package Quantity: 200
Original review: I received my staples last week. They were kept in the house until yesterday when I started to put down some landscape fabric. The staples seem well constructed and I had no issues getting them into the ground. When I went outside this morning to continue laying the fabric, I discovered that the staples (even those that were left outside but not yet used) had quite literally rusted overnight! 12 hours outside on a humid but rain-free day caused these to rust. I'm no chemist, but I have never seen anything like this. Even metals not meant to be used outdoors don't rust overnight. The reviews on this product are overwhelmingly positive, so perhaps I received a bad batch or something, I don't know. I am going to contact the mfg and will update my review if/when I hear back from them. Update: I contacted the mfg just to ask if they had any idea what could cause the rusting. They responded saying all their staples are galvanized and that they were sending me a replacement box of 150. I wasn't sure why they were sending me a box of 150 when my original order a box of 200, but I never asked for a replacement so I wasn't going to complain about that. After opening the box of 150 I have a pretty good idea why they sent me the box of 150 as a replacement - they're not the same product! It's hard to notice in the photo comparing the two, but the staples in the box of 150 are thicker, shorter, the metal is 'folded' differently, and the color is MUCH different (presumably this second box actually is galvanized). I'm going to bump my rating from one star to three because the replacement staples are wonderful, and honestly even the original rusted staples will still work. I am not going any higher because with the overnight rusting there was obviously something wrong with my original box of staples, and again the replacements look much different so I don't believe that the manufacturer could be unaware of the problem. ... show more

  • These are the garden staples you need
Item Package Quantity: 200
I bought these based on going through all the reviews for all of the garden staples on Amazon. These did not disappoint. They are sturdy with the right tips to easily pierce and slide into my heavy clay soil. The length is right to ensure the staples stay in the ground. I am in my first season of use so I cannot testify regarding corrosion, but so far there is no evidence of rust. I’m using these to hold down netting and soaker hoses, but I can see there would be a myriad of uses for the staples. You can believe the good reviews. ... show more

  • Ashman Galvanized Stakes!!!!
Item Package Quantity: 200
The stakes for the ground was everything I was looking for. We bought two of your 200 boxes for the stakes back in the beginning of fall for to cover up our plants for the wintered. They are solid and strong and the box was very heavy. Came to us in a strong box sealed tight. We also used them for in my Memory Garden for my Mom. To hold down a memorial ring I made with plenty of flower and decorations. Is way I knew no one could just run up and take the items or get blown away. They were sharpen enough to go through all the mulch in the garden. Just purchased this box because we ran out of them. They also helped with holding down little white fence around one of the plants so the fence did not move a inch when we had the 35 miles winds. So far no problem. One time we had dig them up because we put down black weed cloths and when planting we were thinking it over and had to pull up the stakes up and that was a hard job. We found out that the flowers spread underground but they would have no ware to pop up again!!! LOL First time planters Some the stakes we could even spread and pulled them to make wider. They worked great and hope they will continue through the strong snow weather and wind. We enjoyed have them instead of looking for rocks. • OMG these are wet noodles!!! Can't be steel. Useful to look like you used garden staples..barely!
Item Package Quantity: 500
I am fastening down hard wire cloth and landscape fabric. I need the staples to hammer down into the dirt. These look and feel like aluminum despite saying they are steel. I seriously doubt it. They bend like aluminum. Their weight is very light. They bend and fold over with little effort. They are close to useless. If your soil is soft and there are no rocks or sticks then you could get away with this. But why, the staples are crap? this useless box of crap shows up and you discover it is a sham. How stinking lame is that? they bend and don't work. You have been stooged and have to use them or stop and wait to get suitable replacements. What a bunch of jerks made these... ... show more

  • Works! Best price I could find anywhere.
Item Package Quantity: 200
These staples are the best price for the quality that I could find online or locally. The big box hardware stores want a fortune for a tiny bag of 25 and they are flimsy and short. These are thick and long enough to actually anchor and hold down the heavy black plastic that I put down to kill weeds. I am a repeat buyer and these will be the staples I order when I need more. Pretty good deal. I searched all over and decided that these were the best value I could find. Recommended. ... show more

  • Great product for anchoring commercial weed barrier
Item Package Quantity: 150
These landscaping staples have worked great for tacking down my weed barrier material. Just keep in mind that you can use more than you think. 150 count isn't that many. I had to order 3 more boxes but I have a fairly large project... time will tell how they hold up with consistent moisture. Photos only show a portion of my project. ... show more

  • Weak as a kitten
Item Package Quantity: 150
Unless we were driving these stakes into soft mulch or mud, every single staple bent, crumpled, became too distorted to use, on contact with the ground. Galvanized? Joke of the day. Steel? Not even. These are aluminum, very soft aluminum. It was tough just getting them to go through the weed cloth, much less into the ground. Waste of money and huge waste of time. ... show more
