Excited for the Christmasy smell, I put the hot cocoa in my warmer today and it is awful. Smells nothing like what it’s supposed to and reminds me of an old musty attic. I had to open windows (it’s cold outside mid December) and I can still feel it in my throat. I feel bad for the dog. I love using melts over candles. I guess u get what you pay for. Scents barely match their description, don't last too long in my opinion, and already have gone through half the packs , even mix and matched to see if I can get a longer scent going and nothing. The packaging was beautiful. But other than that won't buy again. The hot chocolate smells like burnt chocolate, sugar cookie does not even resemble a sugar cookie smell. The initial smell is delightful and perfect for the season, but unfortunately, the scent doesn’t last very long once melted. I expected a stronger fragrance to fill the room, but it faded much quicker than I hoped. The wax melts themselves are easy to use and fit well in my warmer, and I appreciate that they are soy-based. Overall, they add a nice touch to my Halloween decor, but I wish the scent lasted longer.
