I received this several days ago. It was very easy to set up; came with good instructions. Works very well. Really looks beautiful. The changing colors are lovely and the metal outer piece us elegant. Makes great mist. I purchased peppermint essential oil. Have not had to clean yet, but ought to be very easy. This is my problem: AFTER I got it, I looked up which essential oils are potentially toxic to pets. i have 11 Chihuahuas. My primary reason for purchasing this item was to repel mice. It DOES seem to repel them - however all of the scents that repel mice are also potentially harmful to dogs and cats!!!!! There are plenty of stories house pets dying from vaporized essential oils, which can damage lungs, liver, etc. So please do be careful and keep that in mind. As for this item itself, it is a real pleasure!!! Very well worth the price. There is a long list of beautiful essential oil scents which are NOT harmful to pets - lavender, for example. This is so beautiful that I was happy to display it. I am hoping that it keeps working because I couldn't wait more than a day to come and write this review. PROs: -- It's totally quiet. I think that if I strain to hear, I might be able to hear something but... it's w --It's not as heavy as I thought it would be. --It was super easy to set up. --I like being able to change the light color to suit my mood or, when company is over, better match my living room decor. (I might have to get one for my bedroom.) --The scent output is really good. That's the main thing I worried about because I have always used a wax warmer. Turns out this is better than my warmer because it fills the room without being too strong. -- There is not a lot of added humidity. That was my other concern. It's already too humid here in the summer. -- It's a big bonus that this can run for so long. There are no real downsides for me. I do wish they made smaller ones so I could have one in my bathroom. this is not huge but it's about the size of a medium mixing bowl. I try to show the size in the photo as compared to a 16.9oz water bottle. The bottle, funny enough holds the perfect amount of water for the diffuser (500ml)! TIP: If your scents seem weak in this, make sure to use COLD water! Tepid temps don't work as well. I keep a bottle of purified water in the fridge just for the diffuser. Love the look of this diffuser AND the fact that it has such a large tank (which makes it super easy to fill vs smaller tanks) AND it can diffuse up to 6 hours. Lastly, the light selections are also very pretty! ¡Perfecto!

I have purchased two of these, and after a few months both of them have become too loud (the motor) to keep in my main living spaces….unless I have music or the tv on, the sound of the motor overtakes the lovely lights and wafts of essential oil smells. It still gets the job done - but it’s too loud to take a nap near it. 3.5 stars. ... show more

I have two dogs so I like to make sure that people are greeted with pleasant smells when they walk in and this does a great job of filling up the room with scent. It runs for hours if you leave it on the non timed setting and it looks so pretty as a decorative item with the choice of different coloured lights. It also makes less than a whisper of sound.
