This has brought back so many memories for me. I used to love making friendship bracelets, but the skill has long been forgotten. I got this for my son and I to have some fun making them together. The instructions seem a bit confusing at first glance, but the concept is easy to grasp quickly. It comes with enough string for a few bracelets and has a nice selection of colors. The instructions teach you 4 techniques for building your bracelets, and also the 4 basic bracelet type guides. My son is 10 and once he got used to the motion, really took off with creating. It also comes with some letter beads and some shaped beads, which we haven’t used yet. The overall concept of this holder is pretty great. It really helps to keep you organized when trying to create a more complex bracelet. The most helpful feature of this thought is the fact that it holds the end of the bracelets and helps to ensure that you are able to pull your bracelet together tightly. It’s small and lightweight. I honestly think it’s quite a bit pricy for what it is and what it includes, but my son is loving this so it would be worth it if your child likes this type of thing.
