I did lay heavy boxes over surface to help flatten out the bumps. After 24-hrs it is pretty flat. I will be added a cushioned non-slip pad under. Ive had this rug for 3 months now and the print and colors are perfect, however it is stitched completely crooked and WILL NOT lay flat no matter how much i try to flatten it. It constantly bubbles and ripples all over no matter what effort i put in to help smooth it out. Even with furniture laying on it it still bubbles up. not worth the $$ ... show more

I loved the pattern and colors of this rug. Perfect for my living room. The price of this rug was low and I figured the pile would be thin. However, I did not expect that after 9 months of laying in my living room anchored with furniture that the rug still would not lay flat. It still has strange stiff bubbles and ripples in it. The pile is thin as I expected and could overlook but the quality of the backing is the worst I’ve ever seen in any rug I have purchased. I would have paid a higher price to get a similar looking rug however one was not available. ... show more
