The rug is thinner and no grip on the bottom so an extra pad will be needed if you want it to stay in place or have some cushion. It had a chemical smell when first unrolled but it seems to have gone away rather quickly. The silver gray is on the cooler/blue side. I think it looks more blue in person than the photo displayed. That said - for the price for this size it’s a good deal. If you’re looking for a nice looking large rug that won’t be 100s of $$ then I’d recommend this ... show more

It’s soft and a nice looking rug. If anything I’d say in the light it has a lot of blue tones from the color gray in the rug. The one I got was light gray. I would suggest getting a rug pad underneath. The rug is on the thinner side, so if you’re putting on top of wood or laminate flooring you might want extra padding to make it more comfortable. I got a 1/2 inch nonslip rug pad and it made the rug feel like one that’s worth 10 times the amount I spent on this one. Overall I’d buy this rug again. ... show more

    • Beautiful Rug/Strong Mildew Chemical smell

I am not sure how I feel about this rug, i will have to come back and review it later, as of now their is a strong mildew chemical odor..it's been a few days and me airing out my apartment every day with heat cranked up and balcony door open. I have a small pet and I didn't want her to get any chemical smell on her paws since my socks smell like chemical from me walking on it, so I put another rug over some area where dog plays. Its a beautiful rug...I just moved into this apartment so I haven't got a vaccumm cleaner yet, will be purchasing one very soon and hopefully vacuuming it a few times will help...such a disappointment that rug is not ready to be used as of now. This is a real review, and I think if your on a budget this is definitely a beautiful rug, but be prepared to go through the steps that I'm currently going through..also if you have a vaccumm right away for sure. I like it! It’s a bit thin but it’s good for the size and price. It had a bit of a chemical smell when we opened it, but the smell was gone after a few hours.

This rug is gorgeous & huge! The design & color is as showed in the picture. There’s not much cushion, but I’d recommend! I just hate that it doesn’t lay flat right away.

Rug is admittedly soft, great price for the size, but the color advertised for Silver Grey online is in actuality much darker. Much darker tones unfortunately, so it appears more “busy” due to the more contrasting colors than you’d like if you’re going for a softer, more muted rug.

I bought this rug for our bedroom, and I love it! It was everything I was looking for. You can see the thickness in the second picture, it’s not super thick but it’s incredibly soft. The pattern is modern classic and will never look too dated. It’s a very sturdy rug, but will slip around so I highly suggest using some grip tape or something similar if you’re placing it on hardwood/tile/vinyl flooring. It vacuums and cleans up nicely. We have two dogs and I was worried fur would stick to it, but we haven’t had any issues since I purchased it July. It also cleaned up nicely after one of my dogs got sick on the rug. I just used a some dish soap with warm water, a microfiber pad and a toothbrush in some places and it cleaned and dried nicely. Some reviews complained about it not laying flat, e pictures were taken two days after I received the rug. I laid the rug on 4 stools and it completely flattened out after a day & half, so don’t let that be a deterrent, because there are many ways to fix that issue and Google can help. I was fortunate enough to buy for $20 less than its current price during Prime days (I have the 4.3x5.11) but it well worth the current price. I’m also looking into buying the runner and possibly the same one for my dining room or living room but waiting for sales.
