I replace my entryway rug runners often. It's like a mini- redecorate! This rug runner hides entryway dust, small leaves, shoe prints, etc., better than many . It's a nice looking rug for a bit of a modern "tribal" feel we are currently going for. It's simple, no backing (would slide on a wood or tile floor, need a rug pad for that). Beautiful pattern. Thin rug so if you want a more, squishy under foot rug, then you'd want a pad under it. The only con so far is the INTENSE chemical smell on arrival. I sprayed with extra strength febreeze and hung it in the sunshine most of the day. That took the edge off but it's day 2 and I still can't put it down in my bedroom yet.
