Have been using this mousepad with my GPX superlight with superglides. What an amazing combo! I tried out the Hien, and other Hien clones. I could not get over the inconsistencies between the X and Y axis. If you want a great feeling pad that feels smooth, plays quick, and has an even feel up, down, left, and right, this is the pad to get. No other mousepad can even come close to the quality of the rubber pad underneath and the quality of the cushion that the Artisan pads have in general. But the Hayate Otsu, in my opinion, is simply the best. I mainly play FPS's such as Warzone and Apex. Tracking on this pad has definitely felt much smoother overall. great, got here quick however lol while i did buy it used (great value) it was rated to be at an acceptable condition, and then packaged folded so i dont know if the condition was this way or better prior to being packaged that way sooo yeah im sure i can get the big crease out, it functions quite reliably and consistently but i thought itd be something to note good seller, got here quick even as an imported item ... show more

I ordered the mid hardness in XL and have been using it daily for a few months now. The pad is still in perfect condition and only needs some wipe downs a few times a week. It's the absolute perfect pad for gaming, whether you play tac shooters like CS:GO or Valorant, tracking heavy games like Apex, and everything in between. Couldn't recommend a better pad, but the price is absurdly high on Amazon. If you're looking to buy this or any other artisan pad, get one off of the official artisanjp website or look for a local vendor that carries them such as LethalGamingGear or MaxGaming. Ordering one from Japan and paying the high shipping costs is still a lot cheaper than what you'd be paying buying this off Amazon. You'd be paying an insane markup for faster shipping times. ... show more

The is an updated version of the Hayate Otsu and an old version. The old version only last about 5-7 months while the new version lasts about double that. After 4 months of heavy usage on this it has slowed down quite a bit and had to flip it around to maybe get a little bit more usage out of it. Everything I've read says washing it won't restore the glide on this specific mousepad so there's that. Buying here would be fine if you're okay with a mousepad that will slow down a lot after about 4 months, but I think there are better options available, honestly I think a cheaper $20-$30 pad would have a better glide than what I have at this point. Kind of regretting buying the biggest one when now I just have to buy a new one to get that nice glide back. ... show more

Not really much to say due to there being no major problems with it. Before I got this mousepad, I was using an ONN mousepad from Walmart. When I first used the artisan mousepad, I’ve noticed it helped me ALOT with my flicks.. It didn’t really give me a HUGE change, but it still was there. Unfortunately THEY SENT ME AN X-SOFT INSTEAD OF SOFT. But my experience still was REALLY GOOD either way. I recommend cleaning the mousepad with Lysol and a microfiber cloth DONT CLEAN THE RUBBER SIDE. ... show more
