    • Great Portable Keyboard
This is a great little portable keyboard. It will fit easily in a laptop bag or a sleeve along with a tablet or laptop. It is very easy to connect to my devices and maintains a good connection. The backlit keys are a great feature as well. The size is perfect. It is very thin but feels sturdy and well made. I have used it with my One Plus Open phone, ROG Ally, and Tab S9 Ultra tablet, all with no connectivity issues. Actually I am writing this review on the ARTECK Keyboard and my One Plus phone. I have only had the keyboard for about five days but time will tell about it's longevity. It does come with a 2 year warranty so that is nice to know. The only negative is that it can only be paired with one device at a time. There appears to be no way to pair with 2 or 3 devices and switch between them. Even so, I still can highly recommend this keyboard if you are looking for something light, portable, well constructed and easy on the budget. Great job ARTECK! ... show more

    • Handy keyboard for the steam deck
I got this keyboard for use with my steam deck because I disliked having to use the on-screen keyboard, which slowed down my work flow when doing file work. Now I have an actual keyboard to type on any time I need it. The only thing I dislike is that it's not easy to type on. I get typos way too often because it's so small. I have to look down at the keyboard while typing to get better accuracy. But at least I don't need to type a lot, just when I occasionally need to rename a file or type in a search term in the browser. If I had to use this for writing essays, I would have a really rough time. As a bonus I also use this for my desktop PC, just so I can get away with sitting at my bed with a wireless mouse. No longer tethered close to the tv screen with wires. Again, it's useful or file work or web browsing. For gaming, I use a controller so I'm not concerned about having a keyboard. This keyboard connects instantly once you power it on, and ready to use right away. The back light on it is pretty dim even with the higher brightness. But it is a difference between having it on or off while in the dark. It actually helps with seeing it in the dark. While I have the room light on, I just disable it to save battery. However, it is convenient how the backlight turns off on it's own when not used for 30 seconds. This keyboard came with mini rubber pads, I put them on my wireless mouse and it made for a nice ergonomic on my mouse. I don't see how it would help with the keyboard though. ... show more

    • Affordable and Effective :: Some troubleshooting required to pair with PS4, but it does work on consoles!
I was in the market for a wireless keyboard that could pair with a PS4 for online gaming/chat. My needs were minimal and didn't justify going out and spending money on a high-end gaming keyboard (I really needed a simple way to chat with other players that didn't involve using the controller). Perusing the keyboards on Amazon eventually led me to the Arteck wireless keyboard. Although the reviews were plentiful and overall positive, I was a bit hesitant to make the purchase because there were zero reviews or comments addressing whether or not this would pair well with a gaming system. In fact, outside of actual gaming keyboards, most of these units speak solely to compatibility with android/windows/iOS devices. That being said, it was still a bluetooth device and should work fine...I made the purchase. Upon receiving the package, I was surprised at how small and lightweight this actually was! It also felt durable despite it's slim frame and design. Instructions for setup and use were simple and pairing was just a matter of understanding the steps needed for the device your wish to pair. PERFORMANCE: The first time I used the Arteck keyboard with my PS4, the results weren't positive. The pairing was simple and the system recognized the keyboard. When I fired up the game and tested out the typing however, I was disappointed to find that the keystrokes would 'stick' and scroll for some time. If I typed the work 'test', it would come out as 'tttttttteeeeeessssssstttttt'. Even after deleting the device from the system and re-syncing I still had the same results. Dismayed, I set it down for the weekend and decided I'd return it the following week. I dug around as much as I could online to find a solution to my problem - surely others have run into this as well? The articles I found didn't speak to this problem much at all - there were sticky-key issues all over, but nothing for a gaming system. I decided to give it one more shot and see what configurations I could change. Specifically in the PS4 system, I updated the keystroke delay to 'long' and the repeat delay to 'long'. I'm not sure if this was the solution, but when I went back into the game it suddenly worked (correlation = causation in this case?). Now the keyboard works seamlessly with my PS4 - no sticky keys, excellent response when I need to type quickly! Pros: 1. Inexpensive 2. Battery life 3. Size/Durability 4. Ease of setup/use 5. This DOES work with gaming systems (no mention, so I hope I can plug this for others who are curious) Cons: 1. Backlight is essentially pointless - barely noticeable 2. It doesn't come out of 'Standby' mode very responsively. I often have to work the keys for 30-40 seconds before it responds again ... show more
