If you just need some basic packing tape and don't demand the highest quality and strongest tape out there, this is fine. I use it for eBay packages and haven't had an issue. Despite the claim that this is Heavy Duty, it is not as strong as regular, run of the mill Scotch 3M tape however so if you are looking for truly heavy duty tape, you'll likely want to get something else. ... show more

This tape fits in my existing packing apparatus well, and has good adhesion. It doesn’t stick to itself too much on the roll, which is great - meaning it’s very easy to apply. It adheres to cardboard, plastic, and paper well. I use it primarily to attach shipping labels to packages, but would also feel comfortable packing up packages with it. The pack of six is nice, too. Overall it’s nothing special, but it’s much better than the cheap stuff. It doesn’t split at the ends and it’s easy to re-start your line if you lose the end. ... show more

These rolls are a good buy. The 3" core is slightly larger than other competitors (the tape falls off the dispenser core). I've put a few rubber bands around the dispenser core so it holds the tape snug. I will consider this issue next time I need to buy tape.

If any of these above apply to you, this will be a slight issue. (Quality, reliability/durability, ease of use, time consumption, lastly the smell) All of these were issues when using this tape. When it comes to the quality, the tape rips when it comes to the time spent trying to re-thread the tape through the dispenser, so it will not stick to itself thus making it dang near impossible to use quickly and accurately please allow extra time if you are a man of planning and require short concise bits of time to flow smoothly. However, this was about five dollars cheaper than the alternative. However, I would have saved five dollars with the extra hour I spent threading and re-threading these rolls. However, the job did semi get done, and only a few items fell out of the boxes when an accident or two happened in a boxwood fall about half a story. Regular tape sort of stretch and maybe eventually snap this tape simply breaks as though it was frozen and you hit it with a hammer. ... show more

I bought a pack of 6 rolls. Much cheaper than Walmart. The tape does the job but is kind of thin & can tear unexpectedly at times. It is what it is. I'm still very pleased with the inexpensive 6-pack.
