I tried out several tapes and this was the best one that stuck to the box as well. None of the other Scotch tapes really worked and neither did the filament tapes. It's a little bit expensive, but it's better than taping and retaping with other brands and even with other scotch tapes. I also tried 3M and they didn't work well on cardboard boxes either. I searched for several types of extra extra strong tape to use for things in my classroom. Anyone who is in education knows that kids can pick ANYTHING off a table or carpet. This scotch tape does a pretty great job at keeping down name tags on a smooth table surface for several weeks. It doesn’t work too well on carnet. Gorilla tape has a slight edge over it for working on carpet (for a little while) and lasting longer on tables. I love 3M tape because it is so sturdy and these had a cutter that guided the tape and kept it from sticking on the roll all the time. That's a big plus. I did not pay attention to what I was ordering and they are a bit smaller than what I was expecting that's my fault. They are a good value for the money ... show more

Pretty much was able to move my whole room using this tape and some boxes, just triple layer it top and bottom if it's heavy and it'll hold better than the box. Very easy to use as each tape package has a the cutter on it, only problem is the roll is very hard to find or initially get started for me and I had to cut my own start with almost every roll, without that, and if it was easier to find the tape start, I would genuinely give it 5 stars. ... show more
