So far so good. Easy to put together and the shorter sheet of roofing made it easy to handle. I do recommend better screws and also make sure it is level, before starting roof. 400 lbs of carport kit delivered to the exact site of construction. Instructions are graphics and Arrow has a video which helps to understand the construction. Measurements are critical to get exact. Other wise the roof panels will not fit. The diagonal measures for the parallel walls must be exact. Use a tape measure. Anchors will throw the measurements off. Triple check as you set the anchors. This carport is 7ft which allows the bottom side panels to be at face level. I left the lower panels off to avoid any accidental injuries. Good quality and easy construction. The structure is what I was looking for. The coolest thing about this was I made a mistake by not separating all the roof panels and didn’t notice there were some with different screw holes. I’m a handy kind of guy that usually does everything myself, from carpentry to landscaping to plumbing and engine work. This thing has kicked my butt. The frame is easy enough but the roof panels are impossible to do without three men and a boy. I started trying to assemble mine the weekend before Christmas, and gave up to let it sit until now, the end of April. I decided to get out there in the nice spring weather and finish it, only to again give up after struggling with one more panel for nearly an hour. I bought this carport for the 3rd car we purchased (we only have a 2-car garage). I wanted a carport that looked nice and was sturdy. I had this assembled (it was more than I could do), and it took the two guys assembling it about 3 or 4 hours. Results are just what I was hoping for. Looks terrific. Not the cheapest carport you could buy, but it's more economical when you wait for a sale, and it definitely holds up in harsh weather better than the fabric ones - particularly given the extreme heat and relentless sun in the southwest. First off this was a project doomed from the start. I initially sat me delivery date for a Wednesday between 9 and 9, nothing told the way it would be delivered for free so I scheduled it so it would come to my place of work to be able to use the forklift. That Wednesday crossroads logistics called me to schedule it for the next day (thursday) and when asked why it wasn't coming today she said she didn't know why Amazon said a day they have nothing to do with it. So it was to be there between 1 and 4 Thursday, 4 came and went and nothing, called to see where it was no answer, so I sat and waited, tried calling again finally got after hours dispatch he said truck was extremely late but he was making all his deliveries that day, sat at work until 830 and nothing still....Friday comes, crossroads won't answer the phone, I get a text saying it will be there Monday between set hours and there would be a 30 min call ahead. I had help scheduled to install it on the weekend so that trashed those plans. Monday comes and it shows up, not how it was supposed to but at least it showed up. Looking at the top box it says "1 complete unit DO NOT SEPERATE" also shows shelterlogic shipped it direct from Illinois to me via Estes, (tracking showed it coming from Washington state via NSD). Long story short it looks like it shipped Estes, transfered to NSD, then to crossroads logistics, the to 2 guys in a box truck with a different name with the 3 boxes off the pallet loose on the floor...WHAT A MESS and somewhere in all the shipping changes it did get damaged but not enough to give thru all the hassle again. As far as assembly goes it's pretty straight forward, except (I knew going in it wouldn't be perfect this is not my first building kit by any means) there are so many joints in the frame and roof that NO MATTER HOW LEVEL AND SQUARE everything is, it dont work out right and you are left with a carport that looks decent but when you look at it close its got a lot of fitment issues ... show more

This unit arrived in 3 boxes. The frame and ribs were easy to assemble. If you're not putting this on a slab, attach the frame to wood. I put it on 17' L 8"x8" board (railroad tie) which is secured with 18" spikes in the ground. Be sure to square up & level the frame before attempting the roof panels, or it will be impossible to match up the holes. This carport is perfect for my SUV to protect from the sun and huge hail we get every summer. Love it! ... show more

In my opinion I would have been happier at $1200 for what it is, not complaining except the fact some panels did not line up and be ready to cut the corners off so no one gets hurt, not a big deal with good metal shears. Strength is there wish I bought one more length.
