I've tried everything from candles, the plug-ins, to other brands of oil diffusers and none of them worked nearly as well as this one has. Yes, it's pricy, but its the last oil diffuser you'll ever have to buy. I live in a modestly sized condo (approx. 1,300 sqft), have two bulldogs, and cleaners that come and clean my home regularly. I enjoy coming home to a nice smelling home that's not overpowering or artificial and that's what the AromaTech AroMini BT provides. The app is easy to set up and use, the device plugs in and looks stylish sitting on my side table. The available scents on AromaTech's website are all natural and not too overpowering. The fact that I can adjust the intensity of the aroma is AMAZING. I set varying timing schedules which control when and how much (intensity) oil is diffused that why I'm not diffusing an empty home. It comes on ~30 minutes before I wake up, turns off when I leave for work and comes on again for about an hour during the day and then again from ~5pm through bedtime. Because of the ability to set schedules like mine, I haven't been using the oil as quickly as I would with other products. I've tried plug ins (too strong, fake smelling, and cause my allergies to act up), candles (only burn for 6-8 hours, have to be home to use, and expensive to keep buying), and other oil diffusers (only scent small area, require water, CONSTANT cleaning) - This is without a doubt the best whole-home scent solution product I've ever owned. The Influencers’ on Instagram might push this product hard, so that should tell you something right there. DO NOT EXPECT the product to work past one year, perhaps fourteen to sixteen months at best. Following their suggested maintenance of running a complete container of rubbing alcohol through the device, it will eventually stop working, it’s just a matter of when. Furthermore, the cost of their essential oils are ridiculous. Again, this might work well for the Influencer who receive theirs for FREE, however for the rest of us paying $250.00 or more, move on and try something else. My home now smells like a resort thanks to this diffuser (my favorite scent is Santal followed by The Hotel). I use to have 3 plug-ins alone in my kitchen, dining and great room area (open concept). Now I just have a single AromaMini BT and my home smells so good. Everyone comments on how good the house smells. I love that it is bluetooth capable and via the app, I'm able to set on/off timer as well as a schedule of intensity. Example of my schedule: Weekdays: 5:30am - 8am - intensity at 5 8am - 4pm - intensity at 2 4pm - 9pm - intensity at 5 Weekends: 5:30am - 9pm - intensity 5 Since I work from home in my office, I leave the intensity low during work hours and while everyone else is home, bring it back up to 5. I also love how this blends in well with my decor. I just tuck it behind a couple vases and it looks like it belongs. I ended up getting another unit for my bedroom! Not sure why people are giving this a bad review when it stops working - it likely just needs to be reset. I had a problem with bluetooth connection and it was simple as resetting the device and I haven't had a problem since. Support has been amazing. I now have two in my home. BTW to reset... this is the email from support: "If it is still not connecting, we will need to reset the diffuser. In resetting, the number for the level intensity has to be on the screen, before you begin the reset. Then hold the power button down until you hear the two beeps. Note there is a long pause between the beeps. After you've heard the second beep, release the power button and the unit should start to run." ... show more

The product was defective and seemed to have been previously used before being sold to me. I suspect that it was previously used due to a stain on the top of the item and the scent from the device. The pump refused to pump anything and has a loud sound. After several attempts, I still couldn't get the pump to work and I have a lot of experience with priming pumps. Because of the price of shipping from my location, I will lose around $100 USD shipping this item back to Amazon in Las Vegas. I am extremely disappointed and feel that I have been cheated. ... show more

I've had my AromaTech AroMini BT for approximately one week. I have used it every day. In the beginning when setting up, I do believe there was a learning curve to it. It didn't work at first...However, after going through the instructions again...we learned that it was our error as we didn't have the oil bottle in the diffuser correctly. Once we fixed our error, it has worked like a charm, filling our home with the most beautiful scent ever (we bought The Hotel scent). Stepping into our home is a pleasure...instead of smelling what we had for breakfast that morning, we smell elegance. Lol. Love this product! ... show more

I read the reviews and I had hesitations to buy based on cost and complaints. I was tired of running to fill the diffuser before that was water based and would only scent the air in the room it was located, barely if that at 500 sq ft. Unpackaged the unit. Followed easy instructions for set up. I purchased the oil made for the device. Downloaded the app using the QR code. Easy to follow. Programmed times for it to come on. At first the unit didn’t stream the mist. Turned it off and then back on again. Then it worked beautifully. I programmed my times I’m home for lunch and after work. Came home at lunch to the most wonderful aroma filling the whole 2400 sq ft up and downstairs. I love the Santal fragrance. Came home after work today to the same aroma filled house. I am glad I indulged I bought this unit as I no longer have to fill a tank with water and add oils to it. Go for it and I think you’ll be pleased.
