for about 6 months I researched all of the scent companies and read tons of reviews from all of these different companies and decided on AromaPlan because it had the best reviews for long term use. Many of the other companies died after 3 or 6 months but there aren't such reviews for AromaPlan. The day I received my machine I set it up right away. It is super easy to set up and I love the Bluetooth app as it is easy to use and change the schedule. I also love that there is a reservoir that I can add scent to and I am not locked into a full sized scent for a month like the other companies. In addition, I did have an slight issue with my machine making a loud noise. I reached out to customer service via email. They got back to me the next day with a few easy requests that I emailed back and less than 24 hours later I have a replacement part heading to me free of charge. Excellent customer service. I highly recommend this company and product! I also recommend spending the $25 for the sample scent set. they are TINY and are only to smell but, you get a good variety to smell and decide if you can live with for a month or more at a time. It helped me and my husband decide what we liked and didn't like since we both have to live with it. ... show more

I hesitated purchasing this because of price and some concerns other reviewers mentioned, but I give it five stars. I’ve been using it for a day. Some other reviewers mentioned it was noisy, this is not the case. I could barely hear it unless I come up close, furthermore, it doesn’t make any sound at all between the intermittent sprays. I have my schedule to go automatically every five minutes, with a 40 second spray duration. It fills up my 1700 square-foot house just fine. The only drawback that is not mentioned in the product description is that it does not come with any fragrance canisters. When my product arrive, I was ready to give it a go, however, I had to order the fragrances. They are not cheap either, but they smell so good, it is worth the price in my opinion. ... show more

Went through THREE of these. First on my spouse's account, then on mine. The first one broke after 3 months. This is with proper alcohol cleaning as per instructions. What happens is, the motor or the fan begins to go. You will know when you hear the banging sound like a woodpecker is inside your machine. It only gets louder, and then it produces no more scent. We were so aggravated, we purchased a new one, and simply replaced the old one in the box and returned it. At this price, I'm sorry, but we had no choice. The new one had the same problem - in under 3 months, the grinding started, and once again, it was beyond the 30 day return window. This time I contacted the company. In all honesty, they took care of it quickly and sent us a new one despite the return window. We were so happy they did this. Well, a few months have gone by, and now, as of today. The clicking and loss of mist has happened again, only the clicking this time, is so loud, we had to run and pull the plug right out. Another defective unit. THESE ARE NOT BUILT TO LAST. I doubt you'll make it past a half year. It's a shame because it did fill the house with aroma, but screw this, we're going back to the cheap water diffusers. ... show more

    • Defective Unit - No Scent

This unit worked flawlessly for the first 5 months or so. The scent definitely permeated the first floor of our home (approx. 2,000 s.f.). Unfortunately, the unit stopped working. While it still cycled according to the set schedule, no scent was produced. After reading other reviews, it appears that this is not an isolated incident. I contacted customer service, and they sent me a replacement piece (the piece that pulls out and connects to the bottle of scent oil). Unfortunately, that did not help. Once notified, customer service promptly sent a replacement unit. I would grade the unit as a B but customer service as an A+. I will update this as we go down the road but love the fact that this company is very responsive and wiling to stand behind their product. The "unit", just like a Fire Stick, should be a loss leader. The money is made on the scent oils, which cost almost as much as the unit itself. Glad to see that this company seems to recognize that. ... show more

Although a little pricey, it’s worth the money. I just hope it last long! The app could be a little more intuitive, and it would be nice if it had an option to warn when the oil inside reaches the bottom of the bottle. Nevertheless, with the right essential oil, it’s a game changer for me!
