Description

This Armor All Utility Vac is specifically designed to clean the interior of your car. It handles both wet and dry pickup, includes all accessories needed for complete interior cleaning and easily converts to a blower to dry motorcycles, car grills and wheels. It also has an automatic shut off to prevent overflow and a built in air and noise diffuser for efficient and quiet operation. Troubleshoot: (1) Vacuum will not operate- No power supply Faulty power cord container full (2) Dust comes from motor cover- The reusable cloth filter is missing or damaged (3) Reduced efficiency and motor/speed vibration- There is a blockage in the nozzle, hose, or the vacuum inlets. Or the dust filter is blocked by fine dust. From the Manufacturer ArmorAll's Utility Wet/Dry Vacs have the ability to clean up both solids and liquids, offering seemingly unlimited uses. The 2.5 gallon polypropylene tank is small enough to carry around, but large enough for most jobs. A 2 horsepower motor provides ample suction power, as well as an easy conversion to a blower function. Auto shut-off detects fill limit and prevents overflow. Top handle and onboard accessory storage make for easy carrying. Built-in air and noise diffuser minimizes volume. Other great features include a 10-foot cord with wrap, 6-foot, 1.25-inch hose, reusable cloth filter, reusable foam sleeve, 2-in-1 utility nozzle, crevice tool, deluxe car nozzle, blower nozzle, and detail brush. No assembly required. Note: The hose is inside the canister portion (inside the units tank) of the vacuum.

  • Lightweight and versatile
Style: Update 2.5 Gal
Only downside I’ll say is if it tips over it stops working until you turn it off and back on. I think this is for safety. Other than that this thing is incredible! So light weight, so easy to work with, long cord, and small form to take with you wherever it’s needed. It’s a joy and can be a vacuum and a blower. Wow. ... show more

  • Exceptionally great budget vacuum. Performs like a champ!
Style: 2.5 Gal Vac
This thing SUCKS! I wouldn't doubt that it could suck a golf ball through a garden hose. OK enough jokes. This vacuum is pretty frigging good. It has quite a bit of suction power, even with the attachments. I use it to vacuum my cars and it does a GREAT job! For starters, the electrical cord is about 10 feet, which is nice. Though for most applications, you'll likely still need an extension cord. The suction power is pretty impressive. And it's not much louder than your normal vacuum. It's not blaringly loud, but at the same time it's not whisper quiet. The vacuum hose is adequately long at about 6 feet. Even better, the end of the hose rotates. This makes using it with attachments so much easier as you don't kink the hose as easily. Speaking of attachments, it comes with everything most will need for simple cleaning. It should be said that there is no extension tube as many other vacuums have. That seems to be the only attachment missing. The vacuum does well with a mix of wet and dry vacuuming. I was able to vacuum up sand on a carpet, followed by standing water, then back to a sandy carpet. It also did a thick wet mixture quite well. The collection bucket holds quite a large amount while still being easy to handle. You can carry the unit around while vacuuming, but I'm sure most will set it down before vacuuming. If you're the type to place the unit on the ground before vacuuming, know that it does NOT slide well on the ground. You can give it tugs to drag it along, but know that it's going to give a bit of resistance throughout the process. In short, this was a great buy! I heard a few guys praising it prior to my purchase, so when I initially purchased this, I had high hopes and was ready to discredit most of its workings. I can honestly say that after using this to clean 5 vehicles, and a few household messes, this vacuum holds its own exceptionally well. This is definitely a winner and a great buy, especially for the budget minded who wants to get the best bang for their buck. If I have to mention something negative about the unit, it would be 2 things. 1. I don't like that there isn't enough room to dump all the attachments inside the trash collector of the unit when not in use. Instead, I have to affix them to the top of the unit where they stand tall and proud. 2. The "clamps" connecting the top of the unit and bottom trash collector can sometimes be a bit annoying to align and affix together. Not a big deal, and it's pretty obvious when it's not connected correctly, but every time I opened the unit, I felt myself really taking my time to ensure the two parts were correctly connected. Again small gripes with the unit. This just shows how well it was designed. As usual, if I run into any problems, I will update this review accordingly. But as of right now, things are going extremely well. UPDATE: After 2 years, this thing STILL runs like a champ. I don't only use it for my car, but I've also used it to clean up inside my home as well, even after light construction projects. This was truly an item worth buying. It's been invaluable over the past 2 years. ... show more

  • AMAZING RESULT FOR THE PRICE
Style: Update 2.5 Gal
You can't beat this vacuum for vacuuming cars. I've used it 2xs and it ALWAYS produces great results. The suction is so powerful that minimal effort is required when vacuuming tough to reach places and vacuuming hair that gets stuck in the carpet fibers. I love this vacuum and would definitely purchase again. ... show more

  • A ***GREAT*** little shop-vac, perfect for my shed!!!
Style: 2.5 Gal Vac
We bought a 12x20 shed awhile back, and I've hauled my big shop-vac out from the garage several times to clean it. But between my projects and storing my lawn tractors in there, there's always something on the floor that needs cleaned up--sawdust, dead grass, dead bugs, etc. Plus the spiders will tend to invade and build cobwebs and nests around the windows, etc. I'd been looking for a small shop-vac to keep in the shed--small, portable, light enough to lift into shed loft for cleaning there, but lots of power. I stumbled on this and I'm glad I did. Arrived last week; today I was rearranging some stuff in the shed and decided to unpack the vac and clean first. I am very, very pleased with this vac. Starting suction with the clean filter is awesome...I realize as time goes on the filter bag will clog and need cleaned. But it seems like a durable cloth material and should survive washing it out. It has a nice, heavy duty elastic band that holds filter bag to housing, well-sewn and seems like it will last. I vacuumed sawdust, small wood chips, leaves, bugs, and grass off the floor with no problem. It has enough power to inadvertently suck in a nearby plastic bag or piece of light rope. Also easily carried up the ladder to the storage loft and vacuumed up there. Then I plugged hose into blowing port, added the blower nozzle, and successfully blew the rest of the junk on the floor out the roll-up door. Not as much oomph as my Worx leaf blower, but it's plenty for blowing out the dirt, grass, and dead leaves the mowers drop. Nice selection of attachments--crevice tool, wide vac nozzle for floor, vacuum brush, and blower nozzle. Only thing missing is an extension tube, but if you have one from a small-hose Shop Vac, it'll probably fit. This would make blowing and vacuuming floor much easier. When you are vacuuming, the air blows out a grill at back of unit. When you want to use blower, you attach the hose into a separate fitting beside the grill. As you insert the hose, it sounds like a flapper valve is closing to direct all exhaust air through the hose--nothing comes out the exhaust grill. Much nicer than some vacs that just use the same round port for vacuum exhaust and blowing. There's a place to hook all attachments on top of unit, but they don't block the carry handle. Cord wraps around the handle too when not in use. Top also has clips on each side to hold the hose when wrapped around -- nice touch! The clips that hold the top onto the bottom part where the debris collects are nice and secure, but are easily opened when you need to take top off for dumping and checking filter. The power switch is recessed in the top handle right where you need it for turning on/off when you're carrying the unit. Hose is plenty long, power cord is plenty long, weight is good for carrying, and it has more than enough power for this type of work. I may buy another of these for the garage and car cleanup. One really trivial complaint...I wish they'd have put the power switch on the same end of the handle where the hose ports are. As is, the hose connects to the "back" side of the unit when you're carrying it with the power switch under your thumb, and holding the nozzle in your opposite hand. This sometimes causes the hose to tangle around your leg, but as I said, that's trivial. Somebody really thought this design out well. Remains to be seen how long between filter cleanings and how overall durable the motor is. You can't beat this for the price. ... show more

  • The little vac
Style: Update 2.5 Gal
This little vacum has great suction power not to bulky and big and works great as a blower when you attach the hose to the opposite side of the vac and has awesome attachments for different jobs to clean

  • Essential item
Style: Update 2.5 Gal
I have a giant shop vac, but have used this more in a month then I’ve ever used the big one. Love it for cleaning my car! Effortless assembly, super lightweight, great suction, good attachments. If I had to offer a criticism, I would have liked a hard bristle brush for getting dirt and sand out of the car interior But the soft bristle works OK. I also really wish vacuums that came with multiple attachments had some kind of storage case to put them in But that’s a general criticism and not one specifically about this product. It does have a place to store the attachments on the vacuum, but it’s a little inconvenient to use the vacuum when they are all attached. . It’s well worth the money. ... show more
