My son used these for a school project. They are a nice brightness and every bulb worked. The only concern is with the battery pack. Under normal operation everything is as should be and the battery pack stays cool. However, if you turn the lights off and leave the batteries in the battery pack, it gets quite hot. I dont know if it would eventually get hot enough cause a fire, but I made him take the batteries out when it was left at school overnite. Not sure how much a school costs, but I'm sure it's more than the price of these lights. We probably got a bum battery pack, but you might want to check yours if you plan on leaving batteries in it unattended. ... show more

These lights are perfect. They do go through batteries kinda quick. Last maybe 5 days with few hours a day use. I recommend rechargeable batteries. My only real complaint is with the battery packs... the backs refuse to stay on.

Works fine and lights are pretty which create a nice atmosphere but the battery box is small so it chewed up the edges of the rechargeable batteries I put in to power these lights. Also the batteries initially wouldn’t touch the top part of the connection so the batteries would rest on the spring and be touching absolutely nothing on the other end. Have to smarter than the casing and shove them forward toward the other side of the connection everytime you change the batteries, which is pretty often, because the battery holder is just small and the batteries that are standard size feel like they’re not supposed to fit and are being forced into place. ... show more
