I needed a washable rug for the entry. These type rugs are new to me. I was worried when the rug came folded in a small box, that the fibers might be crushed at the folds. BUT…It unfolded like a dream and immediately laid practically flat. The rug did not scoot around on the wood floor, and the edges and corners laid flat as well. The surface is dense, smooth, and very soft. Imagine touching a decadent, upholstery fabric that’s somehow a cross between silk, plush velvet and chenille. Can you tell I’m a former home-dec seamstress! The design and rich/semi-muted colors have an upscale vibe, without over-done fussiness. The back has a nonskid surface, and it’s unexplainable, but barely noticeable and effective. Additionally, I bought a very thick waffle/rubber liner to add some heft & cushion. (I cut liners about 2” shorter than the rug on each side, for no tripping hazard.) I had chosen the 3x5’ brown & blue rug to coordinate with an existing, jewel tone runner. Unfortunately, there were some warmer colors, that were just not a good match. I hated to return it…But, I will absolutely be trying to find this rug in more coordinating colors. ... show more

This rug was disappointing. It is much thinner than I expected. It shows dirt very easily. I would not recommend this rug, although it is attractive to look at.

I have an older home with a kitchen that badly needs remodeling. I am not quite ready to do that, however the linoleum started coming up around the sink area, and I had an area where the linoleum cracked and split and would not stop, in other words a "bald" area that kept growing. This turned out to be the perfect solution. It looks good, is comfortable to stand on (no sliding or tripping), and it looks much better than expected! I’ve had it for a week and I already love it. It’s soft and sturdy. My old carpet the pile started to come off fast with kids and dogs. This doesn’t move, it’s surprisingly light and heavy at the same time. I love the size. Didn’t smell. Easy to vacuum.

It’s light and easily foldable! That is a must for us military mom who have to move often. Also it’s great because I can throw it in the wash or easily vacuum on top/below it daily. Great price and the material is thin enough to where It’s not a hassle if my kids spill food on it. I got one of the larger sizes and it hasn’t moved so I didn’t need to buy any rug tape for it.
