I was hesitant about buying this rug but I'm glad I did. It's soft and easy to vacuum if you use the right setting. My dog has had 2 accidents on it and if I had caught it sooner it would have been sitting on top of the fabric. It does soak in but doesn't go all the way through and was easy to get out. I'm afraid the 9x12 is too big for my washer so if I need to wash it I'll have to go to a laundry mat. I bought this based on a review from a lady who has big dogs. This rug might be dirty at this point, but I can’t tell! It’s the perfect color! It’s very easy to clean. I haven’t tried to put it in the washing machine yet because it’s very big. I might take it to a professional to have it cleaned. it’s very comfortable with the pad that I bought for it. Overall it’s a wonderful rug and perfect for my family. Six month update: This rug is too big even for my extra large front loader. After six months, It really needed a good cleaning, But it still looked fantastic. I bought a small Hoover steam cleaner, And it came out looking better than brand new. It’s super soft, Very well-made, and with the right minimal equipment, (steam cleaner, handheld carpet cleaner) This carpet is super easy to care for! I absolutely love it! Great rug, I’ve had it for 3 months and the creases are completely gone now, not sure when they disappeared but they did. 8x10 does not fit in our XL washer which I didn’t expect it to. I use a 3200psi pressure washer with a 15in surface cleaner attachment. It doesn’t do any damage to the rug and cleans it to like brand new. See the pictures. Our dog and kids turned it brown and it shiny white again ... show more
