My livingroom and dining room are basically one open space. I got this rug for my livingroom area and loved it so much that I bought a second one for my dining room area. We have an aging fur baby that has had an accident or two in the house. These washable rugs have been a godsend. Since I don't own a rug scrubber, I would have to do my best to clean up the accidents always worrying that germs were left behind. These are great, just toss them in the wash and hang them to dry and they are as good as new. Do be aware, like most washable rugs, they are thinner than a traditional rug. I really liked how soft this rug was. My dog has peed on it 3 times already, and of course this is the reason I bought it! I was impressed at how the urine actually sat on top of the carpet, as long as I caught it quickly. I was able to wipe it up and there was very little to stain it. I will go with a darker color next time, this one was a light beige, big mistake! I will be buying more for sure. If you’re looking for an affordable, soft rug for your playroom, kids room or just your own living space, this is it! This rug is in my girls playroom and has been a life saver already. Juice has been spilled on it, a diaper blow out, and the typical daily toy playing. The spills and messes clean up SO EASY! This rug is also machine washable, I haven’t done that yet as I’ve just spot cleaned the accident spots, but you can’t even tell there were any spills/accidents! I purchased this rug because of the reviews and I was not disappointed. It is true that the rug is thin but it feels like walking on a very soft blanket. If you put a rug pad underneath you can easily solve the problem with it being thin. As far as washable goes, during a recent move an entire glass of iced tea was spilled on the corner of the rug. The tea sat on the rug overnight before I could get to it. I couldn't fit it into my washing machine so I placed the stained corner of the rug into the bathtub with a little detergent and let it sit overnight. By the next morning all of the stain was gone and the rug looked new. This is a great rug! ... show more

Yes, this rug is very thin but it is also so soft. I haven't washed it yet but seems like it would wash easily. I got it for my toddler's playroom and It's perfect. He can still play with cars on it without the rug slowing it down and he loves to just roll on it. The non-slip backing works great which was a must have for the playroom. If you're concerned about it being too thin I imagine you could get a rug pad. It's folded when shipped. I laid it out right when it arrives and the major crease softed a lot in the first 6-8 hours. It's been about a week and there are still some creases but they really aren't super noticeable. I would think if it was washed that was fix this but its not bothering me! I really do love this rug it's not like any other rug I've had before but I was pleasantly surprised with how much I love it! ... show more

Was not expecting this rug to be nearly as soft as it is! I’m going to have it in my nursery and I truly don’t have to worry about my baby getting a rig burn from this rug. It is very thin however, so I’ll need to put a mat down, but other than that it’s a beautiful piece

This rug is incredibly soft. I can't speak to how well it grips a hard floor, as I have mine on some bad carpet, but it's super nice.
