We have had this item for about 3 months now. It looks nice, is very soft, and somewhat easy to do surface level cleans: we just took it to the laundromat to wash for the first time and followed the instructions. The washing machine in our home is large but not able to fit the 10x14 rug, so we need to go to the laundromat. Even with the large washer there, it was unable to get all of the water out of the rug. It was still soaking after spinning it for hours. The rubber backing is now coming off and it is completely ruined. Im so sad because I loved this rug. I wanted it to last more than a few months. I am trying to find the contact info for the seller to try to address this with them. ... show more

    • You cannot vacuum this rug!!

Rug is pretty and so soft. It is not like a regular rug. More like a flannel blanket. It does not have a backing on it like a regular rug. It will come folded up in a box. I have a Shark vacuum and I cannot vacuum it with it. It sucks the rug up. I've been told you can use a cordless vacuum and it's fine but I don't have one. I did get one of the old vacuums that has no power and it's okay but obviously doesn't get the dust out. ... show more

We were looking for light rug and this one fits the bill. The material is soft , love the finish and quality . Nice anti skid base. If you are looking for heavier rug with some padding this is not for you . Though the finish is soft , one does feel the floor .
