Very soft, velvety rug. Accurate measurement. Low pile which makes vacuuming easy. Colors are a little brighter than anticipated — not a bad thing, but I expected a more muted palette and not bright blue. Has folds from shipping but they’ve flattened some. Placing this distressed-print area rug over the wood floor in my playroom was the equivalent of adding a piece of fine artwork to the room. Because there was already another similarly printed rug on the floor there, they complement each other and add symmetry to the entire room. I especially like how thin this rug is because that makes it less of a trip hazard. It took almost a full week for the creases caused from being folded up to disappear completely, but it now rests nice and flat with no visible fold lines anymore. It's soft and comfortable to walk or sit on and it adds a lot of warmth to a floor that can sometimes seem cold and unwelcoming as just bare wood. The whole room seems to have a different presentation (or vibe) with this rug in place and serving double duty - a rug and an art piece. It's a thin, vintage-style rug with a floral print that looks really cute. The first thing that surprised me was how soft it felt under my feet. It's not super plush, but it's definitely comfortable to stand on, even barefoot. Plus, it's washable! I've already had to toss it in the washing machine once because of a little spill, and it came out looking good as new. No shrinking or fading that I could see. Another plus is that it has a non-slip backing. This is a big deal in my kitchen where things can get a little slippery with spills and crumbs. The rug stays put even with all the walking around we do. For the price, I think it's a great little rug. It's stylish, comfy, washable, and stays put.
