This rug is really nice. It is soft, and it has a pretty design....but it is REALLY orange, and not really what I would call distressed. I don't mind the color because I tend to like bright things, but if you are thinking it is soft colors, it really isn't. Besides that, it's a nice rug. It flattens out pretty well, without all the edges curling up. It is soft and appears to be washable if you have a big enough machine. Great value for the money. ... show more

Love the idea of being able to throw it in the washing machine. We have an older dog and a puppy who have a lot of accidents which is the main reason I purchased it. It really needs to have a pad under it but unless you can wash the pad, it wouldn't be a very good idea with pet accidents. You also have to be careful vacuuming it because the vacuum will suck it up. However, if I put my vacuum on hard floor mode it vacuums fine. Colors are as shown in the amazon pictures. ... show more
