Description

Season after season, the 215 Arctix Men's Premium Snowboard Cargo Pants serve as an outstanding value priced ski/snow pants. These pants feature a 100% Nylon shell with W/R + W/P 5000mm ThermaLock Breathable Coating, offering a maximum degree of durability. Non-insulated with a mesh-lined interior, and a DWR finish (Durable Water Repellent) to repel water from the surface of the fabric. Articulated knees allow for a more unrestricted range of motion and comfort as you climb, hike, or ski/snowboard. The adjustable waist ensures a comfortable fit, while boot zippers make them easy for on and off access over boots. Boot gaiters with grippers form a seamless integration with the boots to keep the warmth in, and the moisture out. These relaxed fit pants also include 600 Denier Ballistic reinforced ankle, scuff and hem guards to hold up against daily wear & tear, and conveniently has cargo pockets for extra storage and an O-ring for keys, gloves and/or lift tickets. The pants provide zippered hand warmer style pockets, a zippered fly, belt loops, and lace hooks to prevent pants from riding up. They are water and wind resistant, and are machine washable.

  • Good quality but barely long enough for a 6' 4" guy.
Color: Black Size: XX-Large/32" Inseam
These are well fitting pants. They keep me just warm enough without causing me to sweat too much. The zippered vents on the legs are nice to let moisture evaporate. The only issue I have with these snow pants is they are not offered in longer sizes. Not everyone is 6 ft. tall or less. They are barely long enough but thankfully still come down to my boots. I have about a 38-40 waist depending on the brand and about a 34 length is good for me. I'm 6' 4" and about 260 lbs. Overall I would recommend these to someone looking for a good pair of snow pants that wont bankrupt you. ... show more

  • Worked out great for beginner skier
Color: Charcoal Size: Medium/32" Inseam
I bought these with some hesitation given some of the reviews which showed rips the seams, however, mine were well constructed and I'm quite happy with these ski pants. - They fit well over the ski boots. The inner layer is stretchy with grippy like material and a hook to make sure they secure over the boot snugly. Zippers on the outer layer also allow you fit over the boot very easily. - As far a noise, they do make a little noise when walking but wasn't an issue at all for me. Wore them out and about to dinner afterwards without any concern. - Has vents on the inner thighs in case you get hot - I normally were 32x32 and ordered a medium (I'm 6'1", 185lbs) . Didn't wear anything else underneath and needed to adjust the waist tabs to their smallest setting and wear a belt. Length was great, if slightly long when wearing regular shoes. - Laid in the snow a few times at end of the run and had no issues at all with them getting wet Looking forward to my next trip back to the slopes with these. ... show more

  • Good value but choose next size up from what chart recommends
Color: Black Size: Large/32" Inseam
This is a hard review to write so I will try to be fair. The first pair I ordered were L which was the size for my body size according to the chart, however they were significantly too small. I exchanged them for XL and they fit quite well. On the good points, these pants are excellent value for the money, the material is good quality the construction is pretty decent and the poppers, velcro and zips work well to fasten them on. They are also very good in serious cold weather (-19F) and keep you warm and wind tight even in 20mph artic winds. However on the negative side I bought these for walking my dog and when I blow the snow from around my house. The pair they replaced were also for snowboarding or snow sports but the pant ends unzipped completely. If you just want them to go over your boots after you put them on, then these are excellent as they will do that and having the folded guzzet of material behind the zip in the pant leg will make them more air tight and water/snow tight. However you cannot put them on without taking off your boots because of that feature. On the bizarre side I cannot fathom why anyone would want venting slots with zippers on the inner thighs, all this does in make for something to open when you don't want it open or to go wrong and to add needlessly to the manufacturing cost. Overall I am very pleased with these pants and as long as you don't mind putting them on before your boots or don't mind taking off your boots to put them on then these will work for you but I would recommend a size up from whatever the chart says. ... show more

  • The absolute best value for your money
Color: Black Size: Large/28" Inseam
The cost of these pants made me realize just how high the markup is for well known brands. I’ll admit, $300 ski pants are better, but if you are not looking to impress anyone with logos, you will be completely satisfied with these.

  • Artix is my new snow pants brand!
Color: Black Size: Medium/32" Inseam
Great pants! I'm 6'2" and 180lbs. I wear a 32/24 in men's pants. The medium fit me great. They are a relaxed fit when on but not too baggy. They have zipper on the bottom of the leg to open up to slide over boots. They also an elastic inner gaiter (to snug close to the boot) and a lace hook on each to attach to your boot laces to make sure they stay in place. Very happy with them so far and looking forward to giving them the durability test this season at 3 Southeastern resorts. They seem to be of quality workmanship so I have no doubt that they will hold up fine. --------------------- UPDATE 2/24/15: I have taken these on a couple trips to the mountains this winter and they held up great! Warm and durable. I also washed them and had no trouble at all. Very happy with the value of these pants! ... show more

  • Winter pants
Color: Charcoal Size: Large/32" Inseam
The pants were great at blocking the wind and insulated well. The quality of the material is not the best. One of the latches broke on the first use. I will need to repair that for future uses but other than that they are good.

Color: Black Size: Medium/32" Inseam
I haven't had the chance to test these pants out on the mountain yet, but they fit just as i expected. I'm 5'8 and 160 lbs i usually wear 30 waist size pants and i ordered a medium. The pants have adjustable waist bands on the inside so i had to adjust them to fit me snug and i might even wear a belt but i like they fit me a little loose, it gives me the option of wearing something underneath them if i choose to. i like that they had vent zippers on the inside of the legs in case they get too hot and i like the feature of them having hooks on the inside leg holes to clip to the boots. like i said i haven't tested them out in the snow yet but them seem really good quality and am looking forward to getting out on the mountain with them. ... show more

  • Runs large
Color: Charcoal Size: Large/32" Inseam
Ordered against the sizing guide. Came too large to wear and had to return. Looked and felt very good for the price point. Didn't have the right size and color, so didn't replace. I will call them 80% as good as pants 5x the price. Not the greatest thing, but very good. Set your expectations at the price point and you will be very happy. ... show more
