My first mirror arrived with a huge crack in it. Looked like it gog beaten up pretty bad by ups but I got a replacement pretty quickly and the second arrived in perfect condition. It seems packed well and even is labeled as fragile and lists the contents as mirror so I truly believe it was the fault of ups. The mirror itself is really heafty in weight and feels sturdy enough to sit on a desk to be a vanity mirror or on the back of your dresser. But it comes with two holes on the back along with the hardware needed to mount it on the wall. I think it's so lovely I've decided to put it on my mantle over my fireplace and it really looks nice up there. ... show more

Mirror was exactly what I wanted, but arrived smashed. The packaging was very flimsy foam, not protective at all. Great customer service through Amazon though - I had to chat with a service representative, otherwise the only option was to return + refund. I ordered this to hang in a bedroom to help make it feel more spacious. It is a very, very heavy mirror for its size, and should be fine when hung using the studs but still makes me a little uneasy. I have eclectic taste and like the mirror, but the person I share the room with thinks it looks silly because of the abundance of gold; it has a rather deep profile (over 1" from the wall) and I agree that it is a "loud" look, although the gold color is brushed and not tacky, still stands out quite a bit. I carefully looked at all measurements before I ordered, and thought it seemed deep for a frame, but figured hanging it on the far wall and seeing it only head-on that it wouldn't be so conspicuous. I think the mirror would be more incorporated into the room if the frame was half as deep. It would probably lighten its weight as well. Having said that, the mirror is everything it shows in the product photos and true to the description, not sure if I will hang it up or not, but only because of my own subjective preferences and not because the mirror is "bad". I'm sure someone I know would be happy to have it if I decide to pass, it's a solid and well-made mirror. ... show more

My first mirror arrived with the glass shattered, despite very few marks on the box (it looked like there was something that punctured the box in the middle). I exchanged it and the new one is perfect. Fairly easy to install, looks great above the makeup table at my photography studio. Very happy!
