I purchased this headset for work. I do work from home and sometimes I need privacy so I can’t have music or my Skype/Zoom calls going out through the speakers so the whole family can listen in. I didn’t even realize this can be used to listen to music also as it is also a speaker ear set so even when I’m not on a call the music from my computer plays through it. Which means this has dual functionality! Now I want to get one that has speakers on both ears. I like the color scheme of the gold and black and the mic quality and speaker sounds crisp in my opinion. It also so comfortable to wear. Using these for the first time tonight - I work from home and have struggled to find a headset that didn't hurt my ears. I purchased the one ear set this time. So far it's fairly comfortable. The sound quality is pretty good and the microphone seems to work really well without a lot of background noice. My one complaint with this one is that if you touch the cord closest to the headset you can hear it through the headset, which is kind of annoying. This is also true if the cord rubs against your clothing or anything like that. This doesn't happen with the lower part of the cord beyond the volume control, just the top portion of the cord. These call center style headphones are great for those that work from home. With the one ear on, one ear off approach, I am able to keep these on all day as well as communicate with family without taking them off. I tested the mute and volume controls they work perfectly as well. To setup I just used the usb straight into my laptop and selected the headphones in Windows settings, less than a minute and I was rolling! Highly recommend for those with a high call volume in the work day. They feel durable in hand, the on system button functionality of mute and volume controls keep you from hunting for those on screen / keyboard, and they sound great. Great value for the money! Plug and play, all my software recognizes it. I move from station to station and have never had to try to get it to connect. The mute button is much easier than clicking mute when conferencing and the volume is easy to adjust. I like the single ear speaker, some coworker don’t but that’s a personal preference. I’m completely happy with this headset. THE COVERING OF THE EAR PIECE IS COMING APART. SIMPLE OFFICE USE AND BETTER THAN AVERAGE CARE HAS NOT KEPT THIS FROM WEARING OUT FASTER THAN I WOULD EXPECT. I bought this for my work-from-home job, because it resembled a headset my employer provided but has seen better days. The good: The headset is very comfortable. The controls are easy to press and large enough that you're not hitting more than one button at the same time with a fingertip. I'm told I'm coming through clearly with no noise. The not-so-good: The sound is very muffled, and I'm constantly having to clarify what I think I've heard. I also need to have the volume on high all the time just to hear my callers. I can hardly make out the soft-spoken callers and it's been frustrating for them. I'll keep this as something to use as backup for the better headset I'll be getting. EDIT: The seller, Audimore, reached out to me and advised that I could get either a replacement or a full refund. They even sent a follow-up when I didn't respond (I hadn't checked my emails yet). I didn't expect the company to care, so this effort to make things right really impressed me. I had already purchased a different set of headphones, so I followed the directions for a refund from arama-tech. Arama-tech's customer service was not as impressive, which is forgivable. What irked me was that a PayPal account is required to get a refund, and the 'full' refund comes with a handling fee. Because of this, I'm changing my two stars to one. ... show more
