Unfortunately, one section of one of my poles doesn't lock properly, but otherwise, these are pretty good boat cover support poles. When they work, they have great extension. The base could be a little heavier, but still probably heavy enough. Perhaps the tops could be a bit wider, but again, not too bad. Easy to assemble without the need for tools. ... show more

These poles worked great on keeping my boat cover elevated so the rain water runs off. If people want to keep their boat dry, then the water must run off the covers.. not just sit and pool up. These worked great for my 20 ft open bow sterndrive boat!
