This is a well-made and durable coat. It will last a long time. Love the hoodie and the fact that it could come off. The material is thick and well stitched. Overall a very chic coat.

Very happy with this coat especially happy with the high wool content. I had it shortened into a car coat and added an extra button at the top so I could close it up on below freezing nights. Warm enough to wear with a t shirt on cool days or a long sleeve on very cold nights. It is very slim and so am I, it could use another inch or two in the chest but it's OK. In the future I might go with a large. Sharp and casual with jeans or dress it up formal. The only problem with it was the buttons were very poorly attached, I broke the stitching just trying the coat on so there's no way they will hold up with use. This wasn't a big deal for me because I was planning on adding an extra button at the top anyway so I just had the tailor re attach all of the buttons at the same time. ... show more

I deeply regret not taking a picture showing the discrepancy in the color. In my opinion it was kind of an ugly, mustard brown. It was also too small. Would recommend ordering a size up, but their are far better quality coats of this style on Amazon that are also considerably cheaper. Also, if you return it. Why some gripe about this very well made 80% wool top coat is a complete mystery. Chronic malcontents perhaps? It was a great buy. I took it to a local seamstress and had the sleeves shortened, and expect to wear it for many years to come.

This is not a winter coat!!!! It's more like a fine wool stylish hoodie. Would not recommend if you need winter wear for temperatures to 32 degrees Fahrenheit. This is only suitable to maybe mid 50's if even that. The coat itself is pretty stylish and runs according to Japanese sizes (runs small) so the XXL fitted me best. The zippers, however, are a totally disaster. The teeth on the zippers are rather sharp and the zipper struggles to zip down. Average coat for a high price for functionality and usage. The price point is for the style. If you want style, get this coat. If you want functionality and usage, avoid like the plague. ... show more
