I was initially hesitant about purchasing a renewed version of the Apple Watch Ultra 2. I wasn’t sure if the “expertly refurbished” label would live up to the standards I expect from Apple products. However, after using it extensively for a week, I’m glad to say that my concerns subsided. Here’s what I’ve liked so far, along with a few areas where there’s room for improvement. Likes: Impressive Performance: Despite being a renewed product, the Apple Watch Ultra 2 performs flawlessly. It's fast, responsive, and handles multitasking like a champ. Whether I’m switching between apps, tracking a workout, or using it for notifications, it’s smooth sailing. Fitness Tracking: This watchOS has completely changed how I track my fitness. The precision of the heart rate monitor, GPS, and various workout modes ensures I’m getting accurate data, which has helped me optimize my training. Health Features: The health tracking features are top-notch. The ECG, and sleep tracking are incredibly insightful, helping me stay on top of my health metrics. Battery Life: I’m pleasantly surprised by the battery life. It easily lasts a couple of days of heavy use, and with lighter use, I can stretch it to almost 2-3 days before needing a charge. Had the Apple Watch series 7 before and it barely lasted a full day. Seamless Integration with Other Devices: As someone who uses multiple Apple products, the Apple Watch Ultra 2 integrates seamlessly with my iPhone, AirPods, and MacBook. Dislikes: Renewed Product Hesitancy: While the renewed version has performed well, there’s still a bit of anxiety in the back of my mind about long-term durability. However, the watch came in excellent condition with no visible wear and tear, so I’m cautiously optimistic. Screen Responsiveness: One major drawback I’ve noticed is that the screen becomes less responsive when my fingers are sweaty during running. This can be frustrating when trying to interact with the watch during a run. I hope this is something that can be improved with software updates, but it’s a noticeable inconvenience. Battery Life: Both a like and a dislike: While the Apple Watch Ultra 2 has more battery life than my recent Apple Watch, it pales in comparison to competitors like Garmin, which can last up to two weeks on a single charge. Overall: I’m incredibly satisfied with my purchase. The Apple Watch Ultra 2 (Renewed) has exceeded my expectations, and I’m confident it will continue to serve me well in my fitness, health, and everyday tech needs.     • Fake watch band
The media could not be loaded. It would’ve been nice to know that the original Apple Watch band was not going to be included. Now I have to buy a new one which is $100 which is what I “saved” buying this refurbished one. There is also 2 chipped marks that were not mentioned, overall, very disappointing and fake marketing. The Apple watch ultra 2 is an incredible smartwatch. The battery lasts for days and it's extremely functional. While working out I listen to my dowoaded music or my audible books.     • Watch itself was great, non-genuine charger+band have issues and negate refurbished value
The watch unit itself came in great condition without any obvious visible defects or damage. A+ on that. However, the included charger was charging the watch extremely slowly and would make the watch very hot. After some research I realized this was not a genuine Apple charger (though clearly designed to look like one) and presumably it was either very low quality or defective in some way. I bought a genuine one from Apple and immediately saw proper charging performance without the watch heating up significantly. I noticed too that the watch band is also not a genuine Apple part (but designed to look like an original). It works fine to actually keep the watch on so far, but there's some minor cosmetic details that you wouldn't expect to find on an $800 Apple product. Both of these should have been clearly disclosed in the product description as this makes the value of the refurbished unit significantly less than it appears. Apple charges $30 for the genuine charger and $100 for the genuine band. I paid $620 for this refurbished unit. By the time I add the cost to replace the genuine parts, that's $750. Which means I only saved $50 compared to buying the watch brand new from Apple. That extra $50 for buying new is easily made up for by a proper one year warranty/support from Apple. So in the end it doesn't feel like buying refurbished actually saved me any money. ... show more

So far I highly recommend…decent deal, good quality, watch came unlocked and pairing was easy. I usually avoid purchasing refurbished devices not directly issued from Apple but this is working great so far. Finally cracked my series three apple watch screen I’d used for 3-4 years and was same price to buy a refurbished series 3 as paying to fix screen. I’d been eyeballing the ultra 2 for a while. Found out about the refurbished option for a couple $100 cheaper. Bought refurbished and cannot find a problem with it aside from it not coming with the fast charge cable that I read all ultra 2s come with. It did come with usb-c charging cable but seems to take 3-5hr to charge. Got a white ocean band I did not use. Bought the amband band in the picture that came with a nice easy centering screen protector for $25. Also did the protection plan as these are both cheap to replace without. I also added cellular service through Verizon while setting it up for $12/mo. Pros: Cheaper buying refurbished Pretty cool watch A lot of customization Option to add to your cell plan $12/mo verizon Cons: Still an expensive watch Refurbished didn’t have the fast charge cable Battery life 3 days with workouts For the price, apple should include the charging block and a screen protector ... show more

There is a lack of quality control when processing refurbished watches. First one I bought was bricked with an activation lock from the previous owner.
