i have the name brand Apple version and this generic version. The video quality is not a good, it freezes up once in a while , but it was cheap and i only use it with Zwift so it does what i want it to do

Cable does NOT allow any streaming from services- Hulu, Netflix, etc. personal videos from your phone or YouTube videos play, but that’s it. There’s a reason it is half the cost of the Apple cable.

So after a few moments of it not working, it just started working. I couldn’t get my phone to show 1080 but that is probably from a poor signal. I have it hooked up to a computer monitor with no speakers, so not sure how to get the sound.
