Can't yet speak of longevity but it works great! I bought TWO others with lots of stars first. One did not work at all. The second worked 3 days. I have had a stroke so plugging in and removing made me nervous that I would break the phone or charger or both. Only problem is cord is too short!! Really short! So I knocked off a star. Over the 4th of July weekend I got caught in a massive rainstorm during a hike. I was quite relieved after making it out of the woods that my phone still worked (yes, I was that soaked) but upon getting back to the cabin I realized that I could no longer charge the device through the lightning port. Fortunately I was leaving the next day and my car has built-in wireless charging so I figured I was set! Unfortunately the wireless charging capability built into my vehicle couldn't charge the phone enough to come back from the dead so I had a 2.5 hour car ride with no audio and no phone. After getting home I ordered one of these and my phone charges quickly and reliably. I am even able to charge my phone in my car now because it has a USB-C port that I can plug the Magsafe charger into. Obviously I will be getting a new phone when the 16's come out so I have a working charging port but this will most definitely keep things working until that is released in October. ... show more
