I was hesitant to buy a renewed phone, but figured since the 2022 SE only came out last year it wasn't *that* used. The seller is fantastic! The phone arrived super quickly and in excellent condition. They even included a complimentary screen protector on it. It also came with a charger cord and plug. The only thing I was disappointed with was the product page said there would be a removal tool for switching out the SIM card and there wasn't (no big deal, borrowed one from a friend). The phone itself works well so far, I've had no issues with it. The battery life is great and had a 100% capacity. Even though I was used to facial recognition on my last iPhone, I actually don't miss it and find the fingerprint/home button to work more often than my facial recognition did. I also had no problem using my T-mobile SIM card in it from my old iPhone X. This is the cheapest version of the iPhone and that's simply because it's newer tech in an old body. Just keep in mind that because of that, it's going to have a slightly different interface/capability than more expensive iPhones, like a smaller screen, a home button, no facial recognition, no tap to wake, and a control panel that slides up from the bottom right instead of from the top. You are getting what you pay for, but I think this is fine for the average user. It certainly is for me. I've seen other reviews that make me a little wary of what could happen after the 90-Day point, but if anything changes (and fingers crossed it doesn't!) I'll update my review. ... show more

Battery health at 100%! I bought this phone “refreshed/used like new” from a seller called Woot. Great price. It was packaged securely and looks brand-freaking-new except for a few small superficial scratches on the screen, which fortunately do not affect the display. I installed a ballistic glass screen protector and can no longer see them at all. After growing increasingly frustrated with Face ID, which failed 60% of the time for me, I switched from an iPhone 11 to this SE and couldn’t be happier. I LOVE having fingerprint/Touch ID again, and having a phone that isn’t so dang heavy. The iPhones I’ve used previously have been: 4s > 6 > 8 > 11. The 8 was my favorite, so I knew the SE would be ideal for my next phone, since it’s the newest upgraded technology but in the iPhone 8 chassis. For me, the SE is just right and has the features, size, weight, and performance I want. I have petite hands and don’t want a huge, heavy phone. So glad I went with this. Bye, Face ID. Won’t miss ya! LOL. ** Update, two weeks later ** I freaking love this phone and haven’t missed my 11 for even one nanosecond. Battery life is fantastic. The screen definitely felt small at first coming from the 11, but I like not having that weird notch at the top that cuts into the screen. The only thing I’ve noticed is that the camera light/flashlight on the SE isn’t as bright as the one on the 11. However, in everyday life, this a non-issue. I only noticed because my weekly Invisalign photos, which I send to my orthodontist, aren’t quite as bright with the SE as they were with my 11. Battery - Being a refurbished premium product I wasn't expecting a battery health below 95, worst case scenario 90. It was 88. For it to be a good condition or acceptable condition that number will have been great, but at the end of the day, little disappointed with battery health. External aspect - Great, front seems brand new, on the back few minor scratches. Im a very detailed person, I think majority of people would not even notice those tiny scratches on the back. Internal - As I mentioned earlier, battery not great. Rest of it seems pretty good with just one day of use. At first, while setting it up it got a little warm, but was expected. The higher grade of phone seems to be the way to go. Almost no defects but did need a lil cleaning up. I did not care about the cosmetic aspect as much because I immediately put it in a case. It came with a 96% peak battery.
