I recently purchased a refurbished ipad. I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of the product when it arrived. The ipad came in almost new condition, with no visible signs of wear or damage. It was packaged securely and included all the necessary accessories, just as a new product would. The installation and setup were straightforward, and it started up with little issue. Performance-wise, it's been excellent, running smoothly and quickly. There is one small downside, though. The setup was a little glitchy and took several attempts to complete. Been using it 8 months no problems whatsoever. Charging goes to 100% albeit slowly with the accompanied 5 watt third party charger. My son has a 10 watt OEM charger which does the job way faster. But I just plug it in using the 3rd party at night and in the morning it's fully charged. And this large battery holds a charge like no other. I am now using a 24 watt Anker charger so everything USB is now charging fast. Otherwise I enjoy the split screen feature, speed, size and the lovely colors from the display. Sometimes I do a bit of writing, so the Apple smart keyboard works as a perfect complement. The speakers, 4 of them :) , are top notch for a tablet but when I feel like it, I pair to a Klipsch Three 80 watt bluetooth speaker to bring the house down or just allow me to fancy the high fidelity music. BTW this iPad still has aux port for wired or wireless connection to headphones or speakers. My daughter uses it for her favorite activity which is drawing, otherwise she uses a 2010 MacBook air that still works very well. I'm keeping this iPad for the quality Apple build and the operating system. Yes, this item at the discounted refurb price still costs more than the android tablets by a good margin. But as it is the closest thing to flawless tech gear IMO, I think the money is well spent. Lastly the Apple software upgrade is terrific. Mine is running iOS 11.2.5 smoothly and uses Touch ID I love it! ... show more

I purchased this large iPad Pro to use for sheet music. It’s very easy to use and works well for an older model. The condition was excellent, as described. If you have iCloud and will be using mostly at home, 128gb is more than enough, for me at least. Battery life isn’t bad for its age. Unfortunately, I haven’t been able to activate Touch ID, but that might be a software issue and hopefully nothing major. Overall, I’d recommend for casual use. I like the design of this series when they still had the home button, and the larger bezels and curved edges make it easier to hold than the newer iPad pros, IMO. ... show more

The first tablet I received had pretty poor battery life - around 2 and a half hours of use - not gaming or using audio/video. Since this is even less than the battery life on the 8 year old tablet I already own, I contacted the seller and received an immediate (canned) reply that I was welcome to return it for a full refund, or they would like the opportunity to replace it. I did request a replacement that was supposed to be shipped immediately upon notification that the original had shipped. It was not shipped until I contacted them and asked about it 4 days after it had been signed for. It was then shipped with no problems, but without the promised tracking information. As soon as I opened the package (which did not require any sharp tools to open) I saw a deep scratch right in the middle of the screen. I immediately returned it to its packaging and requested a full refund. I have not had any response whatsoever after 2 messages and 2 weeks. I have reported this seller to Amazon. EDITED TO ADD, the seller allowed me to return the tablet for full refund after contacting Amazon. ... show more

**UPDATED 12/21/2018: Added back some stars. I was able to get the iPad Pro to charge on my iMac but it will no longer charge when plugged into an outlet. Inconvenient, yes, but not a complete waste. It does continue to work perfectly in every other way. Ordered this iPad Pro in December of 2017 to help launch my graphics business. Had to go refurbished to save money. I thought I purchased the added coverage, though now I cannot find any documentation of that. (if anyone can direct me where to look, please comment) Here I am in November 2018 and my iPad Pro will not charge. I've tried every possible charger, cleaned the port, did a hard reset, and still nothing. I have 20% battery left and when that's gone I'm done. I know buying refurbished is a crap shoot. Guess I should be happy with the one year I had with it? ... show more

When the I Pro was unpacked it looked brand new. I purchased it for my wife who absolutely loves it. Fast response rate, great color. Could not be happier, thinking of getting one for my self.
