I bought this for my niece for Christmas. We just had our family party and she was so excited to get started painting and then we discovered that they were real canvases (awesome), but weren't stretched onto a frame (bummer). Luckily her dad had some wood that would work and he and Grandpa were able to get one framed really quickly so that she could begin painting. I would have given it 5 stars if they came stretched, but the fact that we had to build one (and were lucky enough to have everything on hand to do it) makes it so I went with 4 stars. This was a fun project to do with my kids. We taped them down and painted them at the table. All the materials were provided and we didn't have to worry about a bunch of left over paint. The amount provided was sufficient, even for my kids. They like to use a lot of paint sometimes.

My 5 year old that just turned 6 got this for a early b day present and we loved how all the pictures came individually wrapped, every painting came with its own brushes and of course paints needed. She was able to do most of the paintings it ranged from easy medium and more challenging (smaller lines etc) but she loved seeing the outcome of what she did and it helps teach following directions. I get the adult paint by numbers and she wanted some of her own and these were perfect for us so we can sit and do our own together!
