These feel so amazing, I sometimes just wear them casually. They feel like $40 shorts, and actually feel nicer than my $40 running shorts I used to wear for 3 years. Phone pocket is nice, and the compression shorts feel great and aren't too tight but aren't too loose. Outside fabric is durable and breathable, and the metal-capped short strings are nice and premium feeling. Back pocket is good for keys or chapstick or a card. Fits good, ease of movement. First pair of lined workout shorts and I like them. I ordered another pair. One thing to keep in mind is that they are a one wear item. You can only wear once then wash for next use. It's not a problem but I usually wear shorts more that once to the gym but not these. However I like the liner idea and they fit good. The blue outer short is great, and the quality of the whole thing is better than expected for the price! However, the inner lined part is not very elastic-y, and has a bit of a looser fit than I would prefer. Using the phone pocket on the liner is still better than using the normal front pocket on any of my other shorts for running! but I feel the experience would be better if that part were a little more snug. First off I’ll begin by sayin: buy them. I’m a guy who has bought countless expensive shorts from Ten Thousand, Lululemon, Vuori, Nike, and the likes for the last few years. Those run you $60 a pair at least nowadays. What I found in those products is that they break down and have wear and tear much like any other pants in your life especially when you lead an active life style. These shorts feel nearly the same or better than some of those shorts. The liner is admittedly the best out of all those shorts outside of Vuori. The 5” cut is perfect with the length of the liner as well and my iPhone 13 Pro fit well in its side pockets. They are very quick drying - I’m a sweater and whenever I’m out I know for sure my waistband will get drenched and I’m conscious about my back sweat — these didn’t show too much and I was wearing the khaki colored ones. Have worn these to do CrossFit, runs, and will wear them for beach stuff too without worry because they were $20. Here are some down sides to the shorts. The draw strings suck. They just do. They’re too thing and feel very flimsy. I know I’m going to lose them in the future because they’re also not double vented from inside and outside the waist band. The pockets are cut nicely, but I wouldn’t put in anything there you aren’t prepared to lose. If it had a side zipper inside the pocket itself then damn that instantly makes it a 5 Star product. Lastly: back zipper is alright, but almost too big? I’m just going to stuff my car keys or a credit card back there and it feels like it’s just jumbling back there. Final words. Bought 3 and I’m satisfied with their price point. 5’10 / 180 lbs / athletic build went with Medium. ... show more

These are very nice workout shorts. The thigh pocket on the right leg liner is awesome. But these would be much better if they had a thigh pocket on both legs liners. One for cell phone, one for wallet.
