Okay, so I've been through about half a dozen of these nail drills. Each and every one had the weakest motor you could imagine. Another common problem was the tool collet, on the low quality devices, it was nothing more than a plastic sleeve that would hold the grinding drum, bit or disc by interference fit... ...I could hold onto a shaft tighter with my bare fingertips...of course the tools simply stopped turning under load...or the weak little motor stopped completely. But not with this machine. This is an actual machine tool with a 3 segment draw collet - one that actually locks onto the tools! (see photos) This device's collet accepts standard .080" tools that you already have from other nail drills - and even from your Dremel tool. This tool's manufacturer took matters seriously, providing an ergonomic handpiece (with a really great motor inside) and a detachable, self coiling power cord that has identical plugs on either end for the handpiece OR the power supply/speed controller. The power supply/speed controller is USB C rechargeable (cord included) and has an infinite speed adjustment potentiometer. RPMs are set on the display (x1000) by rotating the knob. There is also a battery life remaining indicator on the screen (see photo) Straight up, this tool works very well. The motor has plenty of torque to grind and polish - the handpiece weighs maybe 2 ounces. It fits very well in my hand. The power supply/speed controller weighs maybe 6 ounces - no doubt due to some very decent lithium ion batteries inside that power this tool for hours of use - or so it does for me... I'm extremely pleased with what the manufacturer has given us! This isn't one of those junk, plastic nail drills that you maybe get two uses out of...this is the real thing. Short of using an actual Dremel tool, nothing else compares to this device. Don't fool around with cheap toys and cobbled together junk nail drills, just get your hands on one of these. The "Aokitec Electric Nail Drill - 4000RPM Rechargeable Portable Nail Filer Machine with Nail Drill Bits Sanding Bands for Acrylic/Gel Nails Removal Manicure Pedicure Kit for Salon Home Use" is easy to operate. This portable nail drill is so much easier to use than the plug-in units. It gives me options if I want to use it outside or take it with me traveling. It has a clip on the back so I could hook it to my pants if I wanted to. It comes with 6 bits and 6 sanding bands in a clear plastic case, so they don't get lost. The cord from the nail drill to the pack has coil in the middle and stretches well-over 5-foot (I didn't stretch it tight) so there is a lot of room. It works great and does a nice job on my nails. The unit comes boxed (easy to gift wrap) with a 2-foot 9-inch charging USB cord and a small manual. I appreciate it came with a nearly full charge, so it didn't take long to top off. This portable nail filer works perfect. It's very easy to use just pick your grinding head, attach it, and turn on the machine. You can change the rpms of the machine to fit your needs. I also really like that the filer is USB-C rechargeable. Overall, I am happy with this nail filer.

This drill happens to be an easy five star rating for me. What sets it apart compared to a lot of the other drills that I have experienced in my several years, happens to be the body of the motor itself. Most of the casings are very thin and fragile and won't hold up to the test of time nor durability. Should you drop it on a hard surface or even the floor. Most of the bodies will crack and break, rendering the drill itself useless. This one, however, is very sturdy and has thicker material but doesn't compromise on being lightweight and easy to hold. Another primary factor for my five-star rating happens to be the power of this drill. Most max out somewhere between 30,000 and 35,000 RPMs. This one reaches 40,000 RPMs which is amazing! Despite its high power, it does not sound noisy at all so it's great for at home use, but it's definitely suitable for professional salon use as well. It holds charge fantastically and comes with drill bits and grinders to get you started. Overall I couldn't be happier! Worth every penny. ... show more

The rechargeable aspect is what sold me on this nail file. I have had battery ones in the past that just didn’t have much power. You could even use this plugged in to last a long time. It is comfortable too,use and strong. The many attachments give you anything you need.

Cons: - VERY sharp. Every time I take my polish off, I would accidently take off a lot of my own nail, just because these are so sharp and it happens very quickly - it would be nice to have one more very thin head to work around the nail Pros: - it has a good variety - these will take off the polish really fast and little effort - these will make your cuticle cleaning much faster ... show more

It comes with a charger. It must be fully charged to use it. When you first use it, you have to start out slow and then adjust it as needed to a higher setting. It is quite strong so proceed with caution. It comes with several attachments to be used as needed. This is an adult Nail Drill not for kids to use. I like it so far. Generally speaking, this seems like a well made tool. The handle, in particular, is well made and solid, with easy to swap bits and a robust feel. The charging base is very light. The listing says it has a 3000mah battery. It'd be very light for that, but it could be maybe that big. I don't think it matters much, but it was surprising how robust feeling the tool itself was, and how cheap the battery/controller felt.
