One of the best features is the built-in file drawer. It’s a practical addition that helps keep things organized, and the extra storage space is great for those of us who need to keep documents close by. I’ve found the drawer to be spacious and sturdy, and it slides smoothly, which is a nice touch. The desk itself feels solid and well-constructed. The frame is stable and doesn’t wobble, even when I’ve loaded it up with equipment. The materials seem durable enough to handle daily use without showing signs of wear anytime soon. That said, the assembly process was a bit of a task. While the instructions were clear enough, it took me longer than expected to put everything together, and some of the pieces were a little heavy to handle on my own. It’s definitely doable, but if you’re not into DIY or don’t have help, be prepared for a bit of a time commitment. I want to start off and say that AODK, the company provides excellent customer service. I had some major issues with delivery and they assisted me and helped me get another one ASAP. The first one was destroyed by fedex during delivery. The size and storage on this desk are wonderful. The drawers are larger than I would have thought, and sturdier considering they are fabric. Shelves are sturdy. Plenty of space for office supplies/desk decor. It is a good and comfortable height, and looks fantastic and modern. Cannot be beat for the price. Assembly was a bit of a task. Make sure you go slow and read the directions carefully as there are plenty of spots to mess up or get confused, especially because of having multiple orientations. The desk is large, heavy and awkward to move. So I suggest setting it up where you want it rather than trying to move later. And an extra set of hands will definitely be helpful, it was a pain to assemble alone. Overall I am very happy with the desk and customer service. Directions are not too bad to follow. Somehow one of the drawer holders went AWOL but it's fine. The printer holder part is also wonky but not noticeable unless you actually look at it. Suits our needs and is the perfect size.

Bought this for a childs room. It's fantastic *for the price.* I can't stress *for the price* enough. Let's face it, this isn't high quality furniture you pass down through generations. But, for what it is, it's great! My kids is in elementary, I expect it to work for homework through high school. I do not expect all of the drawers to make it though. They're not very sturdy. As an adult, they're thin, but workable. My kids will definitely break one. The built in bottom is tent material, with a thicker insert for the bottom. I will buy another set of drawers immediately if they're available for purchase separately, and I really hope they are. Considering everything, I'm happy with the purchase. Assembly took about 2.5-3 hours. It looks great. The measurements are accurate. It shipped well with no damage. All parts included. Instructions were fine. The lights and plugs are a great addition. Horrible desk. Significantly smaller than expected, even with the dimensions that were posted in the product description. You can't even fit a laptop with a stand on the shorter side below the shelves. Very, very cheap. The fabric drawers are ridiculous. Who puts fabric drawers on a desk?! Horrible design. What's more frustrating is that we didn't realize how cheap it was until everything had been put together. Don't waste your money. We'll be taking everything apart and returning this pegboard piece of you know what. ... show more

I love this desk so far! It's really sturdy as well (my back did not thank me for moving the box by myself). But, I put it together on my own and it was fine. I took my time and did it in 2 stages to give my 43 year old back a rest. The box came packed well and there wasn't a single mark or any damage to the parts. To put the screws in the frames underneath the desk top I had to flip it over. It was impossible for me to do it with the desk sitting upright. Once I flipped it over, it was a breeze. This is not a design flaw but maybe more to do with the instructions. Make sure to follow the instructions where it says to not tighten screws fully until they've all been put in or you won't be able to get them to line up. The fabric drawers are very sturdy as well. I've got them loaded up with office supplies and they are still working fine. I did have to put my printer on an extra monitor riser to allow it to fit in the printer space but that's because my printer is big. Again, not a design flaw. A regular, small printer would be fine in that space. This is for my home office as I work remotely 2 days per week and this desk meets my needs. ... show more

The metal bottom is very sturdy and gives the wood top a lot of support. The instructions are clear until you get to the smaller details and I wish they had kept the desk in one direction while assembling instead of turning it halfway through. The 79" desk is large and the extra metal support for the shelving portion (far left or far right) is very smart. The drawers are cloth and I suspect won't hold much but they move in and out of the brackets smoothly. Overall satisfied. ... show more
