  • Works well at a good price
I use this primarily to dial in a few very specific tooling setups on my mill and it works well. Moves and works smoothly, with no jumps or sticking. Looks and feels well made with good surface finishes throughout. Considering the price, I was pleasantly surprised. As an old machinist I will add that if not properly used, coaxial indicators can get you in trouble really fast. I double checked my first few setups with other known indicators just to make sure. Plus, most of the parts I'm working on are fine if they are within .004" or .005". If you need tighter tolerances or are working on critical parts you may want to consider a different type and/or make of indicator. ... show more

  • Big time saver and the price is right
Good looking product, nice wooden case to keep the moisture away from the tooling. Best way to indicate holes or lathe tooling. Real time saver. if you drop them or crash them...well they will be garbage, but that's why you pay 89.00 dollars for them. Can't go wrong with these. I bought a cheaper coaxial indicator before and never had a problem decided to upgrade to these because of the color. ... show more

  • Excellent quality tool
I use this to set up my rotary table. It's a must have tool. It can be done without this tool but the tool makes things easier.

  • Very nice
Use this every day in the machine shop. It works smooth and is accurate to .0005 as far as I can tell. Has repeatability against a far more expensive model.

  • Just as cool as the coolest guys
I think this can hang with the best of them as, price and precision. I have been using the same one for 2 years and I have never had issues with finding things right on center, you can swing in a dowel pin and never be off...thing can go wrong but you really need to make them. I just ordered my second one and that is only to do with me dropping mine, so unless there is user error I think this could be one of your top 5 tools. ... show more

  • Everything works as it should and the price is very reasonable for a beginner in this trade
Had a Blake and it was great to use . This is as good if not better. Use it all the time and it ne er let's me down.

  • Does the job,in a pinch
First of all this isn't a "high end" indicator,I'm a cnc machinist,I got this unit so I could let my trainees use it while training them on my machine,so if AND when they crash it,they don't destroy my good indicator....it does do what it's supposed to,but the swing arm is loose, and the pin holding it together has ALOT of play....for the price I'll probably just buy Shars next time...better price and my last shars "cheapo" lasted awhile and took a beating ... show more
